Eternizada na voz de Tim Maia, a can\u00e7\u00e3o \u201cDo Leme ao Pontal\u201d motivou Luiz Lima a concluir a travessia entre os dois pontos nas \u00e1guas do Rio de Janeiro em um desafio in\u00e9dito no ano de 2008. Desde ent\u00e3o, al\u00e9m de Luiz, outros dois nadadores decidiram atravessar a nado as \u00e1guas que separam a Praia do Leme ao Pontal: Adherbal de Oliveira que concluiu o desafio em 2015 e Paulo Amaral este ano. E agora o clube de desbravadores desse grande desafio vai ganhar um novo nome: Patr\u00edcia Farias de Fran\u00e7a.<\/p>\n

A epopeia de Patr\u00edcia j\u00e1 tem data marcada. Come\u00e7ar\u00e1 no pr\u00f3ximo dia 28 de maio, com previs\u00e3o de chegada no dia seguinte as 11h da manh\u00e3. Uma travessia de aproximadamente 35 km e que ser\u00e1 muito desgastante f\u00edsica e mentalmente. Mas Patr\u00edcia tem muita experi\u00eancia em provas de \u00e1guas abertas,\u00a0j\u00e1\u00a0tendo realizado diversas travessias ao longo de sua carreira e por tamb\u00e9m conhecer o percurso que vai encarar.<\/p>\n

\u201cEla vem se preparando desde o dia que o Adherbal concluiu a travessia. Ela o acompanhou por 25 km e quando saiu da \u00e1gua falei a ela que iria prepar\u00e1-la para ser a primeira mulher a concluir o desafio e na hora ela topou\u201d, conta Renato Ribeiro, t\u00e9cnico de Patr\u00edcia e tamb\u00e9m head coach da Equipe Navegantes que realiza seus treinos no posto 6 da Praia de Copacabana, no Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

E ele garante que Patr\u00edcia esta pronta para um desafio t\u00e3o desgastante. \u201cAs se\u00e7\u00f5es de treinos s\u00e3o puxadas em dois turnos, com treinamento a seco com fortalecimento e mais os longos com dura\u00e7\u00f5es a partir de 4 horas direto. Os treinos s\u00e3o divididos entre a praia e piscina\u201d, revela Renato que tamb\u00e9m contou a SWIM CHANNEL<\/strong> que Patr\u00edcia tem em mente cruzar o Canal da Mancha nos pr\u00f3ximos anos.<\/p>\n

Resta pouco mais de uma semana para que Patr\u00edcia realize a travessia. Al\u00e9m dos treinamentos e \u00faltimos ajustes, ela ter\u00e1 uma \u201cforcinha\u201d extra dia 28. Adherbal de Oliveira vai recompensar o incentivo que teve ano passado e ir\u00e1 acompanhar a nadadora dentro do barco de apoio. Renato conta ainda que muitos atletas da equipe dos Navegantes se inspiram em Adherbal e pretendem realizar esse desafio no futuro. \u201cEle despertou isso dentro da equipe e hoje muitos atletas daqui e de fora do estado me procuram para realizar esse desafio comigo e com a Navegantes\u201d, finaliza Renato.<\/p>\n

Patr\u00edcia far\u00e1 hist\u00f3ria ao se tornar a primeira mulher a concluir um das travessias mais dif\u00edceis do pa\u00eds. E como diz a can\u00e7\u00e3o do saudoso Tim Maia, “Do Leme ao Pontal, n\u00e3o h\u00e1 nada igual”.<\/p>\n
