Ser\u00e3o oito dias de competi\u00e7\u00e3o recheados de grandes expectativa para boas performances e poss\u00edveis recordes mundiais. No dia 3 de julho iremos conhecer o Team USA que em agosto vem ao Brasil para a Olimp\u00edada. O balizamento j\u00e1 foi divulgado e teremos provas bastante interessantes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sem d\u00favida a grande atra\u00e7\u00e3o do evento ser\u00e1 Michael Phelps. De volta as piscinas ap\u00f3s uma breve aposentadoria, o maior atleta ol\u00edmpico de todos os tempos nadar\u00e1 cinco provas em Omaha: 100m e 200m borboleta, 200m medley, 100m e 200m livre. Nos eventos de livre seu objetivo \u00e9 conseguir um lugar nos revezamentos americanos. Por isso a tend\u00eancia \u00e9 que ele nade apenas as eliminat\u00f3rias, por\u00e9m, se a marca feita pela manh\u00e3 n\u00e3o for boa o suficiente para lhe colocar no revezamento ele poder\u00e1 disputar a final.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se Phelps ter\u00e1 um programa de provas menor do que as \u00faltimas seletivas, o mesmo n\u00e3o se pode aplicar a Ryan Lochte. O nadador cair\u00e1 na \u00e1gua seis vezes: 100m e 200m livre, 100m borboleta, 200m costas, 200m e 400m medley. Pelo seu hist\u00f3rico, \u00e9 bem poss\u00edvel que ele se retire alguma prova na seletiva. Para Londres-2012 ele fez a loucura de se inscrever em 12 eventos (!), por\u00e9m desistiu de nadar metade deles. Pelo fato dos 200m costas acontecerem no mesmo dia dos 200m medley, \u00e9 bem prov\u00e1vel que ele n\u00e3o nade esta prova. A grande surpresa \u00e9 a inscri\u00e7\u00e3o nos 100m borboleta, prova que\u00a0ele tentou se dedicar anos atr\u00e1s, e os 400m medley, evento que cogitou nunca mais nadar depois do ouro ol\u00edmpico em Londres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entre as mulheres chama a aten\u00e7\u00e3o as inscri\u00e7\u00f5es de Katie Ledecky. Ser\u00e3o seis quedas na \u00e1gua: todas as provas de livre e os 400m medley. A nadadora \u00e9 a favorita absoluta a medalha de ouro ol\u00edmpica nos 400m e 800m livre e tem grandes chances nos 200m livre. Nos 100m livre o objetivo dever\u00e1 ser conseguir um lugar no revezamento e nos 50m testar sua velocidade. J\u00e1 os 400m medley podem ser uma alternativa para entrar na competi\u00e7\u00e3o, pois a prova acontece no primeiro dia. J\u00e1 Missy Franklin nadar\u00e1 suas quatro tradicionais provas (100m e 200m livre e 100m e 200m costas) e Natalie Coughlin que busca no Rio tornar-se a maior medalhista da hist\u00f3ria da nata\u00e7\u00e3o feminina nada tr\u00eas eventos: 50m e 100m livre e 100m costas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Outros destaques s\u00e3o os 100m livre masculino (com dez nadadores balizados abaixo dos 49s, liderados pelo campe\u00e3o ol\u00edmpico Nathan Adrian), as acirradas lutas por vagas nos revezamentos femininos de nado livre e os 100m costas masculino com o trio David Plummer, Matt Grevers e Ryan Murphy bem a frente dos advers\u00e1rios e lutando por duas vagas.\u00a0A seletiva americana acontece durante os dias 26 de junho e 3 de julho e ter\u00e1 transmiss\u00e3o da TV americana NBC.
