O ultramaratonista aqu\u00e1tico Alan Viana ser\u00e1 o primeiro nadador a realizar o Amazon Challenge de 30 km, a mais nova ultramaratona no norte do pa\u00eds. O atleta far\u00e1 a prova entre os dias 11 e 13 de abril.\u00a0Ele ser\u00e1 o segundo a se desafiar na dist\u00e2ncia, j\u00e1 que em dezembro de 2017 o atleta Vitor Gadelha tornou-se o primeiro a realizar a prova em formato de desafio no tempo de 7h12min.<\/p>\n

S\u00e3o oferecidas as op\u00e7\u00f5es de provas de 18 km e 30 km, que podem ser realizadas durante todo o ano no Rio Negro, em Manaus, a partir\u00a0da reserva pr\u00e9via com a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

A ultramaratona \u00e9 organizada pela Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Aqu\u00e1tica Amazonas, mesma empresa que organiza o\u00a0Rio Negro Challenge<\/a>, considerada a maior competi\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1guas abertas da regi\u00e3o norte do Brasil.<\/p>\n

Alan\u00a0foi at\u00e9 seus 17 anos atleta do Projeto Futuro – Ricardo Prado. Voltou a nadar depois de 15 anos e duas opera\u00e7\u00f5es no ombro e mais uma no joelho. O atleta de 35 anos \u00e9 recordista da Travessia da Ilha do Arvoredo sem traje e foi recordista da Travessia do Leme ao Pontal, al\u00e9m de quarto lugar na Ultramaratona do Rio Itapanha\u00fa e vice-campe\u00e3o nos 15 km do Desafios Aquaman em Capit\u00f3lio.<\/p>\n

Seu grande pr\u00f3ximo desafio ser\u00e1 o Canal da Mancha, em julho de 2020. “Para me manter motivado at\u00e9 o Canal da Mancha precisava de mais um desafio grande para esse ano. O Pierre Gadelha, organizador da Challenge Amazon, me fez o convite e topei na hora o desafio. J\u00e1 nadei os 8,5 km em Manaus em 2017 em uma prova que tive a honra de subir ao p\u00f3dio geral junto com o Allan do Carmo. Sei que ser\u00e1 uma prova dura e desgastante, mas a ideia \u00e9 nadar abaixo de 7 horas os 30 km”, comenta o nadador.<\/p>\n

A prova de 30 km sair\u00e1 da Praia do A\u00e7utuba no munic\u00edpio de Iranduba e tem chegada na Praia da Ponta Negra, em Manaus.<\/p>\n

O Amazon Challenge foi idealizado ap\u00f3s a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Rio Negro Challenge Amaz\u00f4nia 30k, em 2015, quando 18 atletas nadaram entre a Praia do A\u00e7utuba e a Praia da Ponta Negra.\u00a0Com muitas adversidades pelo caminho, como alta temperatura, elevado grau de acidez, densidade da \u00e1gua e fortes correntezas, a ultramaratona promete ser uma das mais desafiadoras do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

“Minha base para esse ano foi bem forte. As provas do Rio Itapanha\u00fa e Capit\u00f3lio,ambas de 15 km, serviram como prepara\u00e7\u00f5es perfeitas para o rio pesado e quente que irei encontrar por l\u00e1. Tendo sucesso no meu objetivo serei o \u00fanico brasileiro a nadar as tr\u00eas principais ultras solo do Brasil batendo o recorde em todas elas. Estou preparado e na expectativa mais uma vez de nadar em Manaus e contemplar as belezas do Rio Negro”, completa.<\/p>\n
