O mar de Copacabana tem um novo rei e uma nova rainha. Na disputa da primeira etapa de 2019 do Desafio Rei e Rainha do Mar<\/a>, que celebra o anivers\u00e1rio de dez anos do maior evento de esportes de praia do Brasil, dois jovens nomes das \u00e1guas abertas foram os grandes campe\u00f5es da principal prova do evento: o Challenge que teve 4 km de percurso. Mesmo com sol e um dia bonito no Rio de Janeiro, as \u00e1guas de Copacabana estavam bem mexidas e as ondas bem altas dando uma dose maior de desafios aos nadadores.<\/p>\n

No masculino Matheus Avellar foi o grande campe\u00e3o da prova, superando os favoritos Luis Felipe Lebeis e Artur Pedroza. Atleta do Minas TC, Avellar tem 18 anos de idade e fez uma bela prova, chegando com uma boa vantagem em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos veteranos advers\u00e1rios ao marcar 40min42s. Vale destacar ainda que Matheus tamb\u00e9m esta convocado para representar o Brasil no Campeonato Mundial J\u00fanior de Budapeste em agosto e treina com um refer\u00eancia da nata\u00e7\u00e3o de fundo brasileira: Guilherme Costa, o Cachorr\u00e3o. Hoje conquistou sem d\u00favida uma\u00a0vit\u00f3ria inesquec\u00edvel para sua carreira.\u00a0Lebeis terminou na segunda coloca\u00e7\u00e3o com o tempo de 40min51s, seguido por Pedroza, do Resende \u00c1guas Abertas, que concluiu o percurso em 41min00s.<\/p>\n

Na vers\u00e3o feminina do Challenge a grande campe\u00e3 foi outra jovem nadadora que vem crescendo e conquistando vit\u00f3rias em eventos da modalidade. Vit\u00f3ria Farabulini, da Samir Barel Assessoria, foi a grande campe\u00e3 do desafio em Copacabana e dedicou a conquista a sua bisav\u00f3 que completou 93 anos neste fim de semana. Um trof\u00e9u bastante especial para a jovem de 15 anos que nadou todo o percurso em 46min38s. O p\u00f3dio teve ainda a presen\u00e7a de Emanuelly Batista, do Vasco, na segunda coloca\u00e7\u00e3o com 47min33s e Larissa Morato, da Vem Nadar, na terceira posi\u00e7\u00e3o com 48min55s.<\/p>\n

Na Classic, que contou com percurso de 2 km, Francisco Neto da Vem Nadar terminou na primeira coloca\u00e7\u00e3o com a marca de 21min46s, superando com folga o vice-campe\u00e3o Daniel Cunha, do Vasco, que nadou para 22min52s. Na vers\u00e3o feminina triunfo de Julia Pasqualette, do Tijuca TC, com 27min11s. J\u00e1 no Sprint, com 1 km de percurso, Daniel Cunha faturou a coroa de rei ao vencer com o tempo de 11min05s. No feminino a vencedora foi Larissa Campos, da Vem Nadar, com 12min12s.<\/p>\n

Como n\u00e3o poderia ser diferente celebridades do mundo aqu\u00e1tico marcaram presen\u00e7a em Copacabana. A medalhista ol\u00edmpico e eterna rainha do mar, Poliana Okimoto<\/a> esteve presente na competi\u00e7\u00e3o. Ela nadou a prova do sprint de 1 km onde terminou na terceira coloca\u00e7\u00e3o e fez algumas premia\u00e7\u00f5es, al\u00e9m de posar para fotos com f\u00e3s.
