Gabriel Santos, nadador da sele\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira que disputar\u00e1 o Campeonato Mundial de Esportes Aqu\u00e1ticos de Gwangju e os Jogos Pan-Americanos de Lima, foi pego em um exame antidoping nesta ter\u00e7a-feira. De acordo com reportagem do Globo.com<\/a>, Gabriel testou positivo para\u00a0a subst\u00e2ncia clostebol em um exame de urina feito no dia 20 de maio fora de competi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Anab\u00f3lico sint\u00e9tico, clostebol \u00e9 considerado uma subst\u00e2ncia ilegal pela Ag\u00eancia Mundial Antidoping (WADA). A subst\u00e2ncia \u00e9 encontrada em algumas pomadas cicatrizadoras, por exemplo. Foi o caso do nadador ol\u00edmpico, Henrique Rodrigues<\/a> que tamb\u00e9m testou positivo para clostebol em 2017 ap\u00f3s utilizar uma pomada que continha o corticoide. Henrique foi suspenso por um ano.<\/p>\n

Gabriel j\u00e1 foi notificado do resultado e tem direito de solicitar uma contraprova\u00a0ao laborat\u00f3rio (que fica no Canad\u00e1) respons\u00e1vel pela an\u00e1lise do exame. O nadador tem dez dias para pedir a contraprova a Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional de Nata\u00e7\u00e3o (FINA) e corre o risco de ser desconvocado do Mundial de Gwangju e do Pan de Lima. Tanto a Confedera\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de Desportos Aqu\u00e1ticos (CBDA) e Autoridade Brasileira de Controle de Dopagem (ABCD) j\u00e1 foram notificadas.<\/p>\n
