Ap\u00f3s 11 anos a competi\u00e7\u00e3o voltar\u00e1 a ser disputada na famosa piscina do Clube Internacional de Regatas em Santos, conhecida por muitos como a piscina m\u00e1gica devido ao passado de gl\u00f3rias e recordes mundiais estabelecidos no clube. L\u00e1 foram cravados tr\u00eas marcas que recordamos nas linhas abaixo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Em 1993 aconteceram os dois primeiros recordes mundiais na piscina do clube durante o Trof\u00e9u Jos\u00e9 Finkel daquele ano. Nos 100m livre o respons\u00e1vel foi Gustavo Borges que era a principal estrela da nata\u00e7\u00e3o nacional e ent\u00e3o vice-campe\u00e3o ol\u00edmpico na dist\u00e2ncia. Na final da prova ele nadou forte e n\u00e3o deu chances para os advers\u00e1rios, vencendo com 47s94 e batendo o antigo recorde do alem\u00e3o Michael Gross.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GLaui8zOCi8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O outro recorde mundial aconteceu tr\u00eas dias depois da vit\u00f3ria de Gustavo. Ao fim da competi\u00e7\u00e3o foi realizada uma tomada de tempo do revezamento 4x100m livre com os quatro melhores nadadores do Brasil na \u00e9poca visando justamente bater o recorde mundial que pertencia a Su\u00e9cia. A equipe al\u00e9m de Gustavo tinha Fernando Scherer, Te\u00f3filo Ferreira e Jos\u00e9 Carlos Souza. E o quarteto cumpriu a miss\u00e3o ao cravar a nova marca mundial em 3min13s97, tempo que foi novamente superado pelo mesmo time na final do Campeonato Mundial de curta daquele mesmo ano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/M1Sdxmqdw3Y\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A \u00faltima marca mundial na piscina do Internacional de Regatas aconteceu em 2005, durante o Torneio Open que era uma das seletivas para o Campeonato Mundial de piscina curta em Xangai. Kaio Marcio de Almeida fazia uma temporada espetacular e vinha amea\u00e7ando o recorde mundial dos 50m borboleta h\u00e1 alguns meses. Na final da prova ele finalmente conseguiu a fa\u00e7anha ao nadar para 22s60, tempo que vigorou como recorde por tr\u00eas anos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eWiP6QRc87E\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A competi\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m a \u00fanica seletiva brasileira para o Campeonato Mundial de piscina curta, que acontece em dezembro na cidade canadense de Windsor.
