A baiana\u00a0Ana Marcela Cunha<\/a>\u00a0se sagrou vice-campe\u00e3 do FINA\u00a0Marathon World Swim Series 2019, a Copa do Mundo de \u00e1guas abertas. A nadadora ficou com a medalha de prata na \u00faltima etapa do Circuito, realizado em\u00a0em Chun\u2019An, na China, no \u00faltimo final de semana. A grande campe\u00e3 do Circuito foi a italiana\u00a0Rachelle Bruni, que conquistou o t\u00edtulo pela terceira vez.<\/p>\n

Na China, Rachele chegou na quarta coloca\u00e7\u00e3o para faturar o t\u00edtulo do circuito. A grande vencedora foi a outra italiana, Arianna Bridi. A atual campe\u00e3 mundial dos 10 km Xin Xin completou o p\u00f3dio na terceira coloca\u00e7\u00e3o e faturou e medalha de bronze para alegria da torcida local.<\/p>\n

Na prova masculina o campe\u00e3o ol\u00edmpico Ferry Weertman<\/a> venceu a disputa seguido pelo italiano Matteo Furlan e pelo russo Kirill Abrosimov. O t\u00edtulo a temporada ficou com o h\u00fangaro Kristof Raszovsky, que terminou a quinto lugar e confirmou seu primeiro t\u00edtulo na competi\u00e7\u00e3o. O brasileiro Allan do Carmo<\/a>, que fez a sua primeira prova sob a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o de Fernando Possenti, chegou na sexta coloca\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Neste ano, a brasileira venceu cinco provas (Doha,\u00a0Set\u00fabal, Balatonfured, Ohrid e Nantou) e ficou em segundo lugar agora em Chun\u2019An e na etapa de Seychelles. Ela n\u00e3o participou de duas etapas\u00a0porque elas coincidiram com a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Campeonato Mundial de Esportes Aqu\u00e1ticos de Gwangju e com os Jogos Pan-Americanos de Lima.<\/p>\n

No Mundial em\u00a0Gwangju, Ana Marcela foi tetracampe\u00e3 mundial nos 25 km e pela primeira vez campe\u00e3 nos 5 km, al\u00e9m de obter a vaga ol\u00edmpica para T\u00f3quio-2020 com o quinto lugar nos 10 km. Nos Jogos Pan-Americanos venceu a maratona aqu\u00e1tica de 10 km e conquistou sua primeira medalha na hist\u00f3ria da competi\u00e7\u00e3o continental. Ana Marcela foi a nadadora de \u00e1guas abertas mais vitoriosa da temporada e entrar\u00e1 no ano ol\u00edmpico como uma das favoritas a medalha de ouro em T\u00f3quio.<\/p>\n

Ana Marcela j\u00e1 foi quatro vezes\u00a0vencedora do maior circuito de \u00e1guas abertas da FINA.
