Agora imagine nadar toda esta dist\u00e2ncia em \u00e1guas abertas, em apenas sete\u00a0dias e com uma m\u00e9dia de 27,5 km di\u00e1rios! Imposs\u00edvel muitos ir\u00e3o dizer n\u00e3o \u00e9 mesmo? Pois \u00e9 isso que a experiente nadadora Marta Izo vai fazer em junho do ano que vem quando encarar\u00e1 um desafio \u00fanico: nadar\u00a0atrav\u00e9s de oito<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>pontes ao longo do Rio Hudson, em Nova York, nos Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A longa quilometragem n\u00e3o assusta Marta. Ao longo de sua carreira ela acumula diversas travessias de longa dist\u00e2ncia no Brasil e no exterior, com destaque para o fato de ter sido a quinta mulher a atravessar o Canal da Mancha, o estreito de \u00e1gua de 34 km que separa a Inglaterra da Fran\u00e7a. Anos depois ela fez novamente a\u00a0travessia compondo uma\u00a0equipe de revezamento com quatro nadadoras que fez o percurso de ida e volta. Fa\u00e7o ainda\u00a0pilates, muscula\u00e7\u00e3o, alongamentos e massagens\u00a0para complementar o treinamento.\u00a0Pelo menos uma vez por m\u00eas nado na represa um treino mais longo, de 3 a 4 horas, em \u00e1gua um pouco mais fria\u00a0que me ajuda a se adaptar as travessias. Ainda faltam oito meses\u00a0(35 semanas), parece muito, mas, ao mesmo tempo, n\u00e3o \u00e9 e j\u00e1 estou at\u00e9 com aquele velho conhecido friozinho na barriga. Mas na \u00e1gua me sinto mais viva, mais livre, mais feliz&#8221;,\u00a0conta Marta que busca entrar para a seleta lista de atletas que j\u00e1 completaram o desafio.\u00a0At\u00e9 hoje apenas seis nadadores conseguiram concluir a travessia: Grace van der Byl, Rondi Davies, Andrew Malinak, Lori King, Cheryl Reinke e Paige Christie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Uma curiosidade \u00e9 que a cada dia\u00a0a prova come\u00e7ar\u00e1 na mar\u00e9 vazante de uma ponte e terminar\u00e1 na ponte seguinte.
