A CBDA anunciou finalmente a convoca\u00e7\u00e3o da sele\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira para o Campeonato Mundial de piscina curta, que acontecer\u00e1 em Windsor (Canad\u00e1) nos dias 6 a 11 de dezembro. Ao todo ser\u00e3o 14 atletas, sendo cinco deles classificados por atingir os fort\u00edssimos \u00edndices no Trof\u00e9u Jos\u00e9 Finkel m\u00eas passado. Os demais 11 completam a lista devido aos \u00edndices t\u00e9cnicos. Uma sele\u00e7\u00e3o mais enxuta em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a Doha-2014, quando o Brasil fez sua melhor campanha em Mundiais de curta e terminou como l\u00edder no quadro de medalhas. E tamb\u00e9m uma sele\u00e7\u00e3o que mescla experi\u00eancia de atletas consagrados com a juventude de estreantes em grandes eventos internacionais.<\/p>\n

Do grupo que ir\u00e1 ao Canad\u00e1 temos quatro campe\u00f5es mundiais individuais em piscina curta. Kaio M\u00e1rcio de Almeida foi campe\u00e3o mundial nos 50m borboleta no Mundial de Xangai em 2006. Seis anos depois Nicholas Santos venceu a mesma prova na disputa do Mundial de Istambul. Em Doha-2014 Etiene Medeiros fez hist\u00f3ria ao se tornar a primeira mulher brasileira a vencer uma prova em Campeonatos Mundiais de piscina. Felipe Fran\u00e7a \u00e9 o mais medalhado do grupo, somando tr\u00eas vit\u00f3rias individuais e mais tr\u00eas ouros em revezamentos.\u00a0Al\u00e9m deles h\u00e1 ainda Larissa Oliveira que integrou o revezamento 4x50m medley misto medalha de ouro em Doha-2014.<\/p>\n

Tamb\u00e9m completam o time da experi\u00eancia nadadores com muitas conquistas internacionais e que chegar\u00e3o a Windsor com chances de tamb\u00e9m conquistarem suas primeiras medalhas em Mundiais de curta. Atletas como Leonardo de Deus e Felipe Lima est\u00e3o h\u00e1 anos na sele\u00e7\u00e3o principal, mas ainda n\u00e3o conseguiram subir ao p\u00f3dio nesta competi\u00e7\u00e3o. No Canad\u00e1 chances da dupla\u00a0ser medalhista nos 200m borboleta e 50m peito, respectivamente, s\u00e3o boas. Ainda h\u00e1\u00a0Brandonn Almeida, Manuella Lyrio, Daiene Dias, Thiago Simon e Lucas Kanieski que tamb\u00e9m acumulam experi\u00eancia no selecionado nacional e v\u00e3o em buscar de uma medalha in\u00e9dita.<\/p>\n

Haver\u00e1 ainda duas\u00a0estreias na sele\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira absoluta em competi\u00e7\u00f5es de grande porte. Estreias de nadadores do Gr\u00eamio N\u00e1utico Uni\u00e3o e que fizeram \u00f3timas campanhas no Finkel. Em 2013 Viviane Jungblut nadou o Mundial J\u00fanior de Dubai e agora disputa seu primeiro Mundial absoluto. No Finkel foi um dos destaques batendo recordes nacionais nas provas de fundo. A grande surpresa dessa equipe \u00e9 Fernando Scheffer que na seletiva para Windsor venceu os 200m livre e garantiu uma vaga ao ser um dos melhores \u00edndices t\u00e9cnicos do evento.<\/p>\n

Ainda n\u00e3o foram divulgado se o Brasil nadar\u00e1 alguma prova de revezamento. Por\u00e9m, pela escala\u00e7\u00e3o divulgada \u00e9 poss\u00edvel montar uma equipe para o 4x200m livre, 4x50m e 4x100m medley masculino e 4x50m e 4x100m medley misto. A miss\u00e3o de montar e avaliar esses poss\u00edveis revezamentos\u00a0ficar\u00e1 a cargo dos t\u00e9cnicos Alberto Silva, Fernando Vanzella, Carlos Matheus, Eduardo Santos e S\u00e9rgio Marques.<\/p>\n
