Nos pr\u00f3ximos dias esta programada uma tentativa de\u00a0realiza\u00e7\u00e3o da Travessia do Leme ao Pontal, prova que conta com a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o da Leme ao Pontal Swimming Association (LPSA) \u00a0e vem ganhando popularidade<\/a>. Desta vez a tentativa ser\u00e1 in\u00e9dita, afinal seis nadadores do LL Gladiadores, equipe que treina nas \u00e1guas da Praia de Copacabana, cair\u00e3o nas \u00e1guas do Rio de Janeiro para nadar em revezamento. Pela primeira vez uma equipe ir\u00e1 atravessar a nado os 35 km de percurso.<\/p>\n

A maior refer\u00eancia do time \u00e9 Luiz Lima, que foi o\u00a0pioneiro ao realizar a travessia em 2008. Ele n\u00e3o \u00e9 s\u00f3 o espelho do grupo como faz parte da equipe. Ser\u00e1 um dos seis atletas que nadar\u00e3o esta revezamento. “Voltar a realizar a travessia do Leme ao Pontal \u00e9 sem d\u00favida nenhuma um presente. \u00c9 um presente saber que foi constru\u00eddo algo positivo, ver a sua iniciativa abra\u00e7ada por outros nadadores. \u00c9 uma realiza\u00e7\u00e3o pessoal se transformando em realidade e a continuidade far\u00e1 o feito sempre presente! Estar junto com os meus atletas ser\u00e1 emocionante e compartilharemos o mesmo sentimento do Desafio do Leme ao Pontal, agora nadando por equipe”, conta o atleta que tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 Secret\u00e1rio Nacional de Alto Rendimento do\u00a0Minist\u00e9rio dos Esportes e idealizador da equipe LL Gladiadores.<\/p>\n

Como solicita a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o as equipes de revezamento precisam ter um capit\u00e3o e Humberto Cesar ser\u00e1 o l\u00edder da equipe dos Gladiadores nesta travessia. “Ansiedade \u00e9 o que n\u00e3o falta a todos n\u00f3s. Mas somos uma equipe unida e agora com um sonho em comum. A uni\u00e3o \u00e9 a nossa maior for\u00e7a”, conta o nadador que se interessou pelas \u00e1guas abertas ap\u00f3s assistir uma edi\u00e7\u00e3o do Desafio Rei e Rainha do Mar em 2013. Outro membro de destaque ser\u00e1 o\u00a0ex-nadador da sele\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira na d\u00e9cada de 1970, Jos\u00e9 Get\u00falio da Fonseca Filho. “A expectativa de nadar um percurso t\u00e3o grande, t\u00e3o dif\u00edcil e t\u00e3o significativo como este \u00e9 enorme. O gostoso medo das dificuldades que vamos enfrentar pela primeira vez \u00e9 muito motivante”, afirma.\u00a0O revezamento ainda ter\u00e1 a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de\u00a0Pedro Alqu\u00e9res, ex-Presidente da LL Gladiadores, do triatleta\u00a0Marcelo Nissenbaum e do franc\u00eas radicado no Brasil Georges Lezaun, todos muito motivados pela oportunidade de entrar para hist\u00f3ria das \u00e1guas abertas\u00a0brasileiras.<\/p>\n

A janela de travessia do sexteto \u00e9 v\u00e1lida para os dias 4 a 10 de novembro, com o barco partindo de madrugada da Praia da Urca, iniciando a largada na Praia do Leme e chegando na Praia do Pontal, no Recreio dos Bandeirantes. A previs\u00e3o \u00e9 que eles iniciem a prova na madrugada do pr\u00f3ximo domingo, dia 6 de novembro. \u00a0Por\u00e9m, tudo depende\u00a0das condi\u00e7\u00f5es meteorol\u00f3gicas e clim\u00e1ticas por medida de seguran\u00e7a.
