Realizada desde a d\u00e9cada de 1940, a prova sempre reserva muitas emo\u00e7\u00f5es e embates marcantes. Desta vez n\u00e3o foi diferente, o duelo at\u00e9 as \u00faltimas bra\u00e7adas envolvendo a Atlantis\u00a0Arama\u00e7an e a Equipe Navegantes foi o grande momento da prova.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A travessia tem 22 km de percurso e \u00e9 disputada por\u00a0equipes de revezamento. Cada equipe precisa ter uma mulher entre os quatro membros e cada atleta nada por exatamente por 30 minutos antes de realizar a troca de parceiro. No papel as duas equipes eram as favoritas e todos esperavam por uma equilibrada disputa. O time da Atlantis veio com quatro fortes nadadores naturais do interior paulista: Samir Barel, Glauco Rangel, Raul Porto e Catarina Ganzeli. J\u00e1 a Navegantes escalou os cariocas Adherbal Oliveira, Andr\u00e9 Castelucio, Carlos Rosa e Patr\u00edcia Farias. O mar apresentava muita mar\u00e9 e fortes ventos que dificultaram um pouco as coisas para os atletas. A Atlantis abria frente e rumava para a vit\u00f3ria, por\u00e9m, tamb\u00e9m enfrentou alguns\u00a0problemas com o barco de navega\u00e7\u00e3o ao longo do percurso. No\u00a0final da prova um forte sprint da equipe Navegantes mudou tudo e o time carioca passou a frente bem nos momentos cruciais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ap\u00f3s mais de 5 horas de disputa a Navegantes conseguiu superar a Atlantis por menos de 15 segundos de diferen\u00e7a.\u00a0A equipe do Rio de Janeiro venceu com\u00a05h26min02s contra 5h26min16s do time paulista.
