Os revezamentos em piscinas, possivelmente est\u00e3o entre as disputas mais emocionantes do cronograma de provas de nata\u00e7\u00e3o. Seja em campeonatos das categorias de base at\u00e9 os super prestigiados Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos.<\/p>\n

Nas \u00e1guas abertas, aos poucos, os revezamentos est\u00e3o cada vez mais dentro da modalidade. A Fina (Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional de Nata\u00e7\u00e3o) informou neste m\u00eas que no Campeonato Mundial de Esportes Aqu\u00e1ticos de Budapeste-2017, haver\u00e1 a prova de 10 km em revezamento. Uma not\u00edcia que pode tornar a modalidade ainda mais atrativa e tamb\u00e9m din\u00e2mica.<\/p>\n

Neste \u00faltimo fim de semana, aconteceu a 49\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o da Travessia Caragu\u00e1-Ilhabela, e paralelamente a 6\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o em formato de revezamento. O percurso n\u00e3o \u00e9 f\u00e1cil, com 22 km de dist\u00e2ncia entre a Prainha em Caraguatatuba e Perequ\u00ea em Ilhabela.\u00a0Indo de encontro ao DNA da\u00a0SWIM CHANNEL<\/strong>, onde jornalismo e esporte se misturam, tive o prazer de participar e vencer a edi\u00e7\u00e3o de 2002 pelo time da F\u00f3rmula Academia. Naquele ano, as correntes eram t\u00e3o fortes que entre as 20 equipes participantes, apenas a da F\u00f3rmula Academia conseguiu concluir o percurso. Isso enaltece o fato de que nas \u00e1guas abertas, a imprevisibilidade faz parte da competi\u00e7\u00e3o e que n\u00e3o basta apenas ter bom condicionamento f\u00edsico, \u00e9 preciso ter estrat\u00e9gia.<\/p>\n

A edi\u00e7\u00e3o de 2016 foi marcada pela gratificante presen\u00e7a de duas equipes dos Estados Unidos e tamb\u00e9m pela acirrada disputa entre dois times com experientes nadadores: Atlantis, do estado de S\u00e3o Paulo e Navegantes, do Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

Em provas de revezamento, analisar individualmente cada atleta, n\u00e3o \u00e9 suficiente para apontar um favorito. A equipe Atlantis era formada por Samir Barel (primeiro nadador brasileiro a completar a tr\u00edplice coroa mundial das \u00e1guas abertas), Glauco Rangel (dez vezes campe\u00e3o paulista absoluto), Raul Porto (atleta que j\u00e1 venceu a tradicional Travessia\u00a0 14 bis) e Catarina Ganzeli (atleta do Unisanta e que j\u00e1 venceu diversas etapas do Rei & Rainha do Mar). J\u00e1 a equipe Navegantes, era formado por Aderbhal de Oliveira (recordista sul-americano da Travessia do Canal da Mancha), Carlos Rosa (vice-campe\u00e3o da travessia do Lago Parano\u00e1 e curiosamente atleta PNE), Andre Castelucio (campe\u00e3o do circuito XTerra Swim Challenge 2015) e Patr\u00edcia Farias (primeira nadadora a completar a Travessia do Leme ao Pontal).<\/p>\n

Em teoria a equipe Atlantis era mais r\u00e1pida que a Navegantes, mas nas \u00e1guas abertas para vencer n\u00e3o basta apenas ser o mais r\u00e1pido. Mesmo n\u00e3o sendo a favorita, a Equipe Navegantes foi mais eficiente no quesito navega\u00e7\u00e3o. Em grande parte da prova, os paulistas lideravam a competi\u00e7\u00e3o, mas cada equipe foi optando por \u201craias” diferentes e consequentemente condi\u00e7\u00f5es distintas.<\/p>\n

Renato Ribeiro, head coach da equipe Navegantes, e que cada vez mais vem se especializando em provas de extrema longa dist\u00e2ncia e \u00e9 um estudioso das varia\u00e7\u00f5es que a natureza pode apresentar. Soma-se isso ao fato dos quatro atletas treinarem todos os dias sob seu comando. Observamos o dom\u00ednio do t\u00e9cnico perante a equipe.<\/p>\n

Logo ap\u00f3s a largada da prova at\u00e9 50% de conclus\u00e3o do percurso, a equipe Atlantis chegou a ficar cerca de 800 metros de vantagem sobre a Navegantes. Mas a partir da metade final, as equipes optaram por tra\u00e7ar caminhos diferentes. A equipe paulista optou por nadar sentido \u201caberto” longe da costa e a princ\u00edpio um caminho mais curto em dire\u00e7\u00e3o e linha de chegada. J\u00e1 a equipe carioca optou por nadar mais perto da costa de Caraguatatuba.<\/p>\n

Fato \u00e9 que no momento da prova, a corrente em alto mar estava contra e nadar perto da costa, op\u00e7\u00e3o adotada pela equipe Navegantes, era a melhor op\u00e7\u00e3o. Devidos as condi\u00e7\u00f5es mencionadas, os cariocas recuperam a dist\u00e2ncia perdida e ainda conseguiram abrir dos rivais paulistas.<\/p>\n

Com 4 horas e 30 minutos de prova, a equipe Atlantis optou por nadar na mesma linha que a Navegantes, e chegou a encostar bastante. Novamente nos 30 minutos finais, a navega\u00e7\u00e3o fez a diferen\u00e7a e a equipe carioca escolheu por sair da costa de Caraguatatuba e nadar em dire\u00e7\u00e3o a chegada em Ilhabela minutos antes da equipe paulista e foi estrategicamente triunfante at\u00e9 o p\u00f3rtico de chegada.<\/p>\n

Ao final de bel\u00edssima disputa, a Navegantes conclui em 5h26min02s e a Atlantis em 5h26min16s. Apenas 14 segundos de diferen\u00e7a separando uma equipe da outra num percurso de 22km! Possivelmente a chegada mais emocionante da tradicional travessia.\u00a0O \u201cclima”, sempre de respeito pelos advers\u00e1rios, foi o mais nobre entre todos os atletas. Em depoimento a SWIM CHANNEL<\/strong>, Samir Barel que competiu pela Atlantis relatou: \u201cEstou feliz pela equipe Navegantes, pois os atletas treinam juntos sempre e sob a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o do mesmo t\u00e9cnico, s\u00e3o realmente uma equipe exemplar\u201d, disse Samir lembrando que\u00a0os quatro atletas da Atlantis s\u00e3o bem pr\u00f3ximos e amigos, mas n\u00e3o treinam juntos.<\/p>\n

J\u00e1 para Renato Ribeiro, a prova foi uma das mais emocionantes que participou como t\u00e9cnico de nata\u00e7\u00e3o e espera voltar nos pr\u00f3ximos anos. Para 2017, n\u00e3o importa quem ven\u00e7a, a conclus\u00e3o que chego \u00e9 que o evento dever\u00e1 aumentar em muito o n\u00famero de inscri\u00e7\u00f5es e se tornar uma prova cada vez mais \u201cdesejada” pelos atletas de longa dist\u00e2ncia.<\/p>\n
