A Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional de Nata\u00e7\u00e3o (FINA) anunciou oficialmente as novas datas para o Campeonato Mundial de Esportes Aqu\u00e1ticos de Fukuoka. O campeonato, que estava previsto para ser realizado entre os dias 16 de julho a 1\u00ba de agosto de 2021, ser\u00e1 agora realizado na cidade japonesa entre os dias 13 e 29 de maio de 2022.<\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s consulta com organizadores, atletas, parceiros de transmiss\u00e3o e patrocinadores, a FINA decidiu anunciar a nova data em decorr\u00eancia da mudan\u00e7a dos Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos para o pr\u00f3ximo ano devido \u00e0 pandemia do COVID-19. As novas datas da Olimp\u00edada (23 de julho a 8 de agosto) colidiriam com as datas do Mundial tornando invi\u00e1vel a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do mesmo.<\/p>\n

“Depois de conversamos com as partes interessadas e receber um feedback deles, n\u00e3o temos d\u00favidas de que a decis\u00e3o tomada fornecer\u00e1 as melhores condi\u00e7\u00f5es poss\u00edveis para todos os participantes do campeonato. Esperamos assistir aos melhores atletas do mundo competindo em na cidade de Fukuoka em 2022. Em um momento de incerteza sem precedentes, a FINA espera que o an\u00fancio dessas datas permita alguma clareza no planejamento para todos os envolvidos”, disse o presidente da entidade Dr. Julio Maglione.<\/p>\n

No comunicado oficial a FINA ainda agradeceu as autoridades da cidade japonesa, a Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Japonesa de Nata\u00e7\u00e3o, ao Comit\u00ea Organizador do Campeonato Mundial da FINA e todos os parceiros pelo compromisso e apoio na tomada da decis\u00e3o.
