Com dez, j\u00e1 competia oficialmente e aos 16 anos conquistou uma vaga na sele\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira, onde permaneceu durante 22 anos. Mas, quando come\u00e7ou, ela n\u00e3o pensava em ser atleta. Queria mais qualidade na sa\u00fade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cComecei a nadar com quatro anos por causa de bronquite. Em um primeiro momento, percebi que seria uma paix\u00e3o e, depois que comecei a competir e viajar, percebi que a nata\u00e7\u00e3o viraria parte importante na minha vida.
