N\u00e3o realizado este ano devido a pandemia do COVID-19, o tradicional circuito Mare Nostrum anunciou hoje sua programa\u00e7\u00e3o para a pr\u00f3xima temporada. O evento, disputado em Monte Carlo, Barcelona e Canet en Roussillon, ser\u00e1 agora entre maio e junho de 2021 e servir\u00e1 como prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para os nadadores que disputar\u00e3o os Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos do T\u00f3quio semanas depois do circuito europeu.<\/p>\n

O circuito ter\u00e1 in\u00edcio em Monte Carlo, em M\u00f4naco, nos dias 29 e 30 de maio. Em seguida vem a etapa de Canet en Roussillon, na Fran\u00e7a, nos dias 1\u00ba e 2 de junho. A temporada chega ao fim em Barcelona, na Espanha, nas datas de 5 e 6 de junho. Tamb\u00e9m foram divulgados os valores de premia\u00e7\u00e3o para os melhores nadadores do circuito, sendo que os campe\u00f5es no masculino e feminino receber\u00e3o 7 mil euros cada.<\/p>\n

Disputado desde 1992 com este formato de tr\u00eas competi\u00e7\u00f5es no litoral do Mar Mediterr\u00e2neo, o Mare Nostrum \u00e9 uma das competi\u00e7\u00f5es mais tradicionais da nata\u00e7\u00e3o europeia e re\u00fane anualmente diversos campe\u00f5es e medalhistas ol\u00edmpicos. Este ano foi a primeira vez desde a primeira edi\u00e7\u00e3o que o circuito n\u00e3o foi realizado. Mesmo com v\u00e1rios pa\u00edses europeus flexibilizando suas fronteiras nas \u00faltimas semanas os organizadores optaram por n\u00e3o manter o evento este ano.<\/p>\n

Em 2019 os nadadores brasileiros tiveram um bom desempenho na competi\u00e7\u00e3o, que serviu de prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para o Campeonato Mundial de Gwangju e os Jogos Pan-Americanos de Lima. Ao todo os atletas do pa\u00eds conquistaram 20 medalhas nas tr\u00eas etapas com destaque para Bruno Fratus<\/a> que ganhou dois ouros e bateu os recordes de campeonato nas etapa de Monte Carlo e Canet en Roussillon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
