O jovem Christophe Maleau partiu na manh\u00e3 do s\u00e1bado da Ilha de Santa L\u00facia e percorreu 40 km a nado ao longo de 13h50min at\u00e9 chegar a Martinica, sua terra natal e um territ\u00f3rio ultramarino franc\u00eas. Maleau, que j\u00e1 tem bastante experi\u00eancias provas longas, fez tudo por uma causa muito nobre: o combate ao c\u00e2ncer de mama.<\/p>\n<p>Estamos em outubro m\u00eas onde se recorda do Outubro Rosa, que promove campanhas de conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o e preven\u00e7\u00e3o ao c\u00e2ncer de mama que segundo a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade (OMS) faz 438 mil v\u00edtimas fatais anualmente em todo o mundo. Al\u00e9m da causa em si, o jovem nadador tinha raz\u00f5es pessoais para concluir o desafio. Sua m\u00e3e foi diagnosticada com c\u00e2ncer de mama h\u00e1 alguns anos e o prod\u00edgio decidiu encarar o desafio em sua homenagem e para conscientizar as pessoas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"fr\">\u00c0 12 ans, Christophe a parcouru 40 km \u00e0 la nage en 14 heures pour mobiliser autour d\u2019Octobre Rose &#x2764; &#x2935; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/iSIuW4RnCz\">pic.twitter.com\/iSIuW4RnCz<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 franceinfo plus (@franceinfoplus) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/franceinfoplus\/status\/1315653455298600962?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 12, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Estou orgulhoso e feliz por ter conseguido. Houve momentos em que duvidei, mas como era por uma boa causa, disse a mim mesmo que tinha que continuar&#8221;, disse o jovem nadador que j\u00e1 vinha pensando em realizar o desafio h\u00e1 dois anos quando come\u00e7ou a se preparar para a travessia. Ap\u00f3s o chegar a Martinica, j\u00e1 a noite, Maleau foi saudado efusivamente pelos seus compatriotas e festejado nas ruas.<\/p>\n<p>Apesar de ter apenas 12 anos de idade, Maleau j\u00e1 contabiliza outras longas provas de \u00e1guas abertas em seu curr\u00edculo. Quanto tinha nove anos nadou 6,4 km entre duas cidades na Martinica e no ano seguinte nadou 26 km na costa de seu pa\u00eds natal em outra a\u00e7\u00e3o do Outubro Rosa. Ao concluir essa fa\u00e7anha de nadar entre Santa Lucia e a Martinica, Maleau juntou-se a dois nadadores que j\u00e1 conclu\u00edram esse desafio: Jacques Sicot e Gilles Rondy, que foi atleta ol\u00edmpico em Pequim-2008 e campe\u00e3o europeu de 25 km em 2006.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No \u00faltimo fim de semana as belas e azuis \u00e1guas do Caribe foram atravessadas por um garoto de apenas 12 anos de idade.
