Os ultramaratonistas aqu\u00e1ticos Harry Finger e Catarina Porf\u00edrio completaram na tarde de ontem 16 km em uma prova de revezamento nadando entre a Praia da Freguesia de Santana e Praia de Pouso no litoral da Ilha Grande em Angra dos Reis, no Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

Parte do programa de provas da Big Island Swimming Association (Swim BISA), projeto idealizado pelo t\u00e9cnico Renato Ribeiro como contamos aqui<\/a>, a travessia de 16 km foi completada pela dupla em 6h08min. A largada aconteceu \u00e0s 6 da manh\u00e3 da Praia Freguesia de Santana e no total eles acabaram nadando 17,2 km. Dessa forma, Harry e Catarina se tornaram os primeiros atletas a completar um percurso da Swim BISA que conta com quatro dist\u00e2ncias: 16 km, 37 km, 48 km e 85 km.<\/p>\n

\u201cO revezamento foi bem tranquilo e tivemos alguns momentos com vento contra, mas revez\u00e1vamos a cada 30 minutos. Quando um entrava na \u00e1gua, j\u00e1 vinha descansado e podia for\u00e7ar mais as bra\u00e7adas. Cada nadador entrou seis vezes no mar fazendo em m\u00e9dia 1.500 km cada vez\u201d, comentou Harry que adicionou mais um feito a sua trajet\u00f3ria nas \u00e1guas abertas.<\/p>\n

A Associa\u00e7\u00e3o promover\u00e1 desafios a nado pela Ilha Grande, local declarado pela Unesco como Patrim\u00f4nio Natural e Cultural da Humanidade, e conhecido pela sua riqueza natural. Os quatro percursos poder\u00e3o ser realizados em formato solo e revezamento, todos sem neoprene e as sa\u00eddas e chegadas acontecem em pontos diferentes da ilha.<\/p>\n
