O Rio Negro Challenge 2020 ser\u00e1 realizado neste final de semana no munic\u00edpio de Iranduba (AM). A prova ser\u00e1 realizada na Praia de Paricatuba, e prezar\u00e1 pela seguran\u00e7a de seus atletas, seguindo todos os procedimentos em combate \u00e0 COVID-19. Todos os atletas ser\u00e3o submetidos a testagem r\u00e1pida para detec\u00e7\u00e3o do v\u00edrus durante a retirada de kits e aqueles que positivarem n\u00e3o poder\u00e3o competir no dia seguinte.<\/p>\n

Para evitar aglomera\u00e7\u00f5es, o congresso t\u00e9cnico ser\u00e1 realizado de forma virtual e o uso de m\u00e1scara em toda a \u00e1rea da competi\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 obrigat\u00f3rio. A Travessia Almirante Tamandar\u00e9, que completa 50 anos em 2020, acontece no domingo, dia 13 de dezembro, como parte da programa\u00e7\u00e3o do Rio Negro Challenge. Al\u00e9m da prova tradicional de 8,5 km, o evento contar\u00e1 ainda com provas de 2 km e 4 km. No s\u00e1bado, 12, haver\u00e1 a disputa do Relay, revezamento no qual equipes formadas por tr\u00eas atletas nadam 500 metros cada um.<\/p>\n

“Este ano estavam programados duas edi\u00e7\u00f5es, uma em maio e outra em dezembro. Devido ao coronav\u00edrus a do primeiro semestre foi cancelada. Gra\u00e7as ao trabalho de toda equipe e confian\u00e7a das autoridades respons\u00e1veis conseguimos confirmar a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o desta edi\u00e7\u00e3o, agora no\u00a0 munic\u00edpio de Iranduba. Vamos seguir o protocolo a risca e vamos fazer um belo evento de retomada”, comentou Pierre Gadelha, organizador do Rio Negro Challenge.<\/p>\n

“Estamos com 220 atletas ao todo e reduzimos o n\u00famero de inscritos devido aos protocolos de sa\u00fade. No evento todos os atletas e nosso staff ser\u00e3o testados e logo ap\u00f3s os atletas sa\u00edrem da \u00e1gua ir\u00e3o receber uma m\u00e1scara e medalhas de participa\u00e7\u00e3o ou premia\u00e7\u00f5es diferenciadas se conseguirem chegar entre os tr\u00eas primeiros”, completou Pierre.\u00a0Al\u00e9m da premia\u00e7\u00e3o na hora, sem forma\u00e7\u00e3o de p\u00f3dio para evitar aglomera\u00e7\u00f5es, a largada vai ser fracionada a partir das 8h15, com 25 atletas a cada tr\u00eas minutos.<\/p>\n
