Podemos aqui dizer que foi a primeira Olimp\u00edada na Am\u00e9rica do Sul, a edi\u00e7\u00e3o onde o Brasil ganhou mais medalhas em sua hist\u00f3ria, que viu pela \u00faltima vez e coroou Michael Phelps e Usain Bolt como as maiores lendas de suas modalidades, e muito mais. Por\u00e9m, existiu outro fato inesquec\u00edvel foi no Rio-2016 que foi a primeira participa\u00e7\u00e3o de uma delega\u00e7\u00e3o de atletas refugiados, que foram aplaudidos de p\u00e9 pelo p\u00fablico no desfile da cerim\u00f4nia de abertura no Maracan\u00e3. Do dez atletas da equipe haviam dois nadadores s\u00edrios: Rami Anis e Yusra Mardini, ambos sobreviventes da guerra civil que assola o pa\u00eds desde 2011.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A hist\u00f3ria de Yusra\u00a0\u00e9 incr\u00edvel e <a href=\"https:\/\/swimchannel.net\/br\/as-irmas-sirias-que-foram-salvas-pela-natacao\/\" target=\"_blank\">publicamos mais detalhes aqui<\/a>. Ela e sua irm\u00e3 Sarah tiveram que nadar por horas empurrando a embarca\u00e7\u00e3o onde estavam at\u00e9 a costa de Lesbos, na Gr\u00e9cia. O motivo era diminuir o peso do barco e chegar em seguran\u00e7a a terra firme. Ambas ent\u00e3o foram acolhidas na Alemanha e passaram a treinar no pa\u00eds. Yusra j\u00e1 havia nadado um Campeonato Mundial de piscina curta pela sele\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00edria e foi convidada para nadar no Rio-2016, onde terminou em 41\u00ba lugar nos 100m borboleta. Logo quando chegou a Alemanha ela manteve o treinamento, mas optou por deixar a nata\u00e7\u00e3o competitiva por desenvolver um problema no ombro.
