Mas afinal, voc\u00ea sabe o que \u00e9 palmateio?<\/p>\n<p>Palmateios s\u00e3o exerc\u00edcios que tem como objetivo a melhora da sensibilidade, percep\u00e7\u00e3o e propuls\u00e3o na \u00e1gua atrav\u00e9s de movimentos girat\u00f3rios das m\u00e3os e bra\u00e7os. O deslocamento do nadador depende de sua habilidade em gerar propuls\u00e3o enquanto reduz a resist\u00eancia ao avan\u00e7o do seu corpo (Toussain&amp;Beek, 1992).<\/p>\n<p>Entender e dominar o uso das m\u00e3os para uma a\u00e7\u00e3o de bra\u00e7o eficaz em todas as bra\u00e7adas \u00e9 um bom caminho. Alguns estudos, como o citado por H. A variedade de exerc\u00edcios \u00e9 enorme, podendo o nadador estar em posi\u00e7\u00f5es onde \u00e9 preciso puxar, empurrar ou se manter na superf\u00edcie, enquanto permanece com o corpo em uma posi\u00e7\u00e3o ideal para melhor flutuabilidade. J\u00e1 sabemos da import\u00e2ncia do palmateio, mas de que forma este pode ser \u00fatil para a preven\u00e7\u00e3o e reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o do atleta?<\/p>\n<p>Sabemos que existe uma conjun\u00e7\u00e3o de fatores que desencadeia uma les\u00e3o, ou seja, as les\u00f5es s\u00e3o sempre multifatoriais. Dentre esses fatores existe o desequil\u00edbrio muscular, comum em um esporte c\u00edclico como a nata\u00e7\u00e3o, visto que o gesto esportivo (bra\u00e7ada) \u00e9 repetido in\u00fameras vezes em um s\u00f3 treino.<\/p>\n<p>A sobrecarga em algumas regi\u00f5es do corpo pode ocorrer e uma fraqueza muscular em outra pode ser notada.
