A primeira etapa do FINA Marathon Swim Series est\u00e1 confirmada para o pr\u00f3ximo s\u00e1bado em Doha. no Catar. Ao todo ser\u00e3o 99 participantes e dois deles s\u00e3o brasileiros: a dupla Ana Marcela Cunha<\/a> e Allan do Carmo<\/a>. Os dois atletas treinados por Fernando Possenti, embarcaram ontem para o Oriente M\u00e9dio com objetivos diferentes.<\/p>\n

Ana usar\u00e1 o evento como prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para os Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos, j\u00e1 Allan a prova pode ser um bom teste para sua prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para a seletiva nacional, que selecionar\u00e1 dois nadadores para o Pr\u00e9-Ol\u00edmpico Internacional que vai acontecer no dia 29 de maio em Fukuoka.\u00a0A nova data e local da seletiva nacional ser\u00e1 divulgada em breve.<\/p>\n

As maratonas de 10 km v\u00e3o acontecer na Praia de Katara em um circuito de cinco voltas. Ao todo s\u00e3o 66 homens e 33 mulheres de 27 pa\u00edses diferentes. A Fran\u00e7a com 20 nadadores \u00e9 a maior delega\u00e7\u00e3o seguida pela It\u00e1lia com 13 atletas.<\/p>\n

Na ocasi\u00e3o, a alem\u00e3 Leonie Beck venceu a prova feminina e Ana Marcela foi a vice-campe\u00e3.
