Como de costume, as provas femininas do NCAA ser\u00e3o uma semana antes da competi\u00e7\u00e3o masculina que normalmente \u00e9 a mais assistida pelo p\u00fablico. Por\u00e9m, este ano o evento feminino ter\u00e1 a principal atra\u00e7\u00e3o de todo o circuito do NCAA. E ela atende pelo nome de Katie Ledecky.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estudante da Universidade de Stanford ela far\u00e1 em Indian\u00f3polis sua estreia no principal evento da nata\u00e7\u00e3o universit\u00e1ria americana nadando tr\u00eas provas individuais (200, 500 e 1650 livre) e mais dois revezamentos (4&#215;100 e 4&#215;200 livre). O NCAA \u00e9 disputado na piscina curta e em jardas, caracter\u00edsticas que costumam beneficiar nadadores velozes e com bons fundamentos nas viradas. Ledecky n\u00e3o vinha competindo neste tipo de piscina no \u00faltimo ciclo ol\u00edmpico, mas desde os Jogos do Rio-2016 vem aprimorando suas habilidades visando um bom desempenho na competi\u00e7\u00e3o em Indian\u00e1polis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A expectativa deste NCAA \u00e9 de ver a hist\u00f3ria sendo feita. Ledecky tem grandes chances de bater novos recordes nas provas mais longas e ajudar Stanford a vencer os revezamentos e quem sabe o campeonato que n\u00e3o vem desde 1998. Ela \u00e9 disparada a grande favorita nos 500 e 1650 livre. Na primeira prova esta balizada com pouco mais de cinco segundos de vantagem para Leah Smith e m\u00eas passado estabeleceu um novo recorde nacional para a dist\u00e2ncia (4min25s15). J\u00e1 na segunda tem quase 28 segundos de frente a Smith no balizamento e\u00a0seu recorde nacional na prova, os 15min03s92 feitos em novembro de 2016, foi avassalador com impressionantes 25s96 de parcial\u00a0nas \u00faltimas 50 jardas e colocando mais de uma volta de todas as advers\u00e1rias (assista a prova abaixo).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8q10M5H9X98\" width=\"500\" height=\"300\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Os 200 livre ser\u00e3o onde ela encarar\u00e1\u00a0seu maior obst\u00e1culo no NCAA. Ledecky esta balizada com o segundo melhor tempo, atr\u00e1s apenas de Simone Manuel que no Rio-2016 surpreendeu o mundo ao vencer os 100m livre. As duas s\u00e3o estudantes e companheiras\u00a0de Stanford e na pr\u00e9-temporada universit\u00e1ria duelaram intensamente com uma melhorando o tempo da outra. Os 200 livre em jardas tem como caracter\u00edstica ser uma prova de muita intensidade e velocidade, que favorece Manuel.
