Ao todo foram seis eventos disputados: o\u00a0challenge (7,5 km), o\u00a0marathon (2,5 km), o short (1 km), o start (500m), o aquathlon (1km de nata\u00e7\u00e3o e mais 5 km de corrida) e a corrida (5 km). Na prova principal 62 atletas se inscreveram para encarar o desafio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entre os homens os holofotes ficaram sobre Glauco Rangel e Samir Barel. Os dois s\u00e3o grandes nadadores de \u00e1guas abertas do Brasil, com diversos t\u00edtulos e feitos na carreira. Em Ilhabela eram os principais favoritos a vit\u00f3ria e Glauco levou a melhor ao nadar os 7,5 km em 1h29min26s chegando tr\u00eas minutos a frente de Samir que ficou com a medalha de prata.\u00a0Matheus Clemente Cobucci, com 1h35min59s, completou o p\u00f3dio. Na vers\u00e3o feminina a vit\u00f3ria foi de\u00a0Thais Sant&#8217;Ana que bateu Rafaela de Souza. Thais foi a primeira mulher a completar a prova em 1h44min52s\u00a0e Rafaela chegou 1min50s depois. As duas tamb\u00e9m terminaram no top 10 geral (contando homens e mulheres) da prova com Thais sendo a oitava no geral e Rafaela a d\u00e9cima. Higor venceu com apenas sete segundos de diferen\u00e7a para Bardi, o terceiro colocado. Curiosamente, os tr\u00eas s\u00e3o respons\u00e1veis por equipes de assessorias esportivas, a Endurance 4.5, a\u00a0Yellowcap e a Bardi Swimming Team. No feminino a campe\u00e3o foi\u00a0Priscila Frascino, com Carolina Ribeiro\u00a0e L\u00edvia Dias terminando em segundo e terceiro lugar respectivamente. No short os primeiros colocados foram Higor Santos e Mariana Gomes, e no start Thiago Costa e Ana Let\u00edcia Camargo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A pr\u00f3xima etapa do Circuito Mares acontece no dia 28 de maio em Ubatuba, encerrando a temporada.
