A competi\u00e7\u00e3o, que vai at\u00e9 domingo, j\u00e1 registrou bons resultados como os 3min44s74 de James Guy nos 400m livre (4\u00ba melhor tempo do ano) e os 4min34s12\u00a0de Hannah Miller nos 400m medley (2\u00aa melhor marca do ranking mundial). Mas mesmo estes bons desempenhos n\u00e3o chegam nem pr\u00f3ximo do dono da melhor performance at\u00e9 o momento que atende pelo nome de Adam Peaty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Na\u00a0atualidade n\u00e3o existe ningu\u00e9m capaz de nadar no mesmo n\u00edvel do ingl\u00eas nas provas de 50m e 100m peito. Ontem ele mostrou mais uma vez que \u00e9 absoluto nos 100m peito. Nas eliminat\u00f3rias j\u00e1 mandou 58s86 e passou para a final com uma vantagem de quase dois segundos para o segundo melhor tempo. Na final\u00edssima n\u00e3o tomou conhecimento dos advers\u00e1rios e s\u00f3 tinha o rel\u00f3gio como advers\u00e1rio. Fez 57s79, a quarta melhor performance de todos os tempos\u00a0(assista a prova abaixo).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tDjId0BjCrE\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Com esse resultado Peaty agora det\u00e9m as oito melhores marcas da hist\u00f3ria da prova. Ele \u00e9 o \u00fanico atleta que j\u00e1 conseguiu romper a barreira dos 58 segundos, conseguindo esta fa\u00e7anha em quatro oportunidades. Tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 o \u00fanico a nadar a parcial de peito no revezamento 4x100m medley na casa dos 56 segundos, feito que conquistou na final ol\u00edmpica nos Jogos do Rio-2016 quando os brit\u00e2nicos ficaram com a medalha de prata. Assim como Katie Ledecky nas provas de fundo, Adam Peaty esta em outro n\u00edvel e quem for nadar contra ele j\u00e1 entra na \u00e1gua para disputar a medalha de prata.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ap\u00f3s a etapa o nadador concedeu uma entrevista a Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Brit\u00e2nica e afirmou que ainda h\u00e1 muito trabalho pela frente e que espera melhorar ainda mais suas futuras performances nos 100m peito para tentar baixar seu recorde mundial que \u00e9 de 57s13.
