No \u00faltimo fim de semana aconteceu na paradis\u00edaca Ilha do Mel, mais uma etapa do Circuito Correr e Nadar. Foram realizadas\u00a0cinco provas de \u00e1guas abertas em opostas dist\u00e2ncias: 600m, 1,5 km, 4 km, 10 km e 20 km. Um evento bastante disputado\u00a0e que reuniu centenas de nadadores principalmente das regi\u00f5es sul e sudeste do pa\u00eds. No s\u00e1bado al\u00e9m dos advers\u00e1rios, os atletas tiveram que lutar contra as condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas. Chuva, ventos e \u00e1gua gelada foram obst\u00e1culos enfrentados pelos nadadores que completaram a prova em um tempo bem acima do normal devido a forte correnteza do mar.<\/p>\n

Entre os homens a disputa foi extremamente intensa e decidida na reta final. O experiente Arthur Pedroza,\u00a0atleta da Resende \u00c1guas Abertas, venceu na chegada Carlos Henrique Rosa da Navegantes. Ao fim da desgastante prova vit\u00f3ria de Arthur: 5h32min24s contra 5h32min43s de Carlos. O p\u00f3dio ainda teve a presen\u00e7a de Sergio Milani da Perd\u00e3o Team\/Trieste Nata\u00e7\u00e3o que nadou para 5h51min17s. Outro destaque da prova foi Adherbal de Oliveira. O recordista sul-americano da travessia da Canal da Mancha que chegou na s\u00e9tima posi\u00e7\u00e3o geral.<\/p>\n

Na prova feminina a vit\u00f3ria ficou com Catarina Ganzeli. A atleta da Unisanta, que pretende disputar este ano todas as etapa do circuito de Grand Prix da Fina, completou os 20 km em\u00a06h24min53s. A atleta afirmou que esta foi uma prova bem complicada principalmente pelas adversidades do s\u00e1bado na Ilha do Mel. Em segundo lugar chegou\u00a0Thais Santana da Elo Academia com 6h25min57s e na terceira posi\u00e7\u00e3o veio Patricia Farias de Fran\u00e7a da equipe Navegantes que concluiu a prova em 6h26min59s. Patr\u00edcia vem se preparando para nadar a tradicional Travessia Capri-N\u00e1poles. Nos 10 km os campe\u00f5es foram Leonel Formiga do Gr\u00eamio N\u00e1utico Uni\u00e3o no masculino e Marcela Garcia da Elo Academia no feminino.<\/p>\n

No domingo o tempo melhorou e os atletas que encararam as dist\u00e2ncias de 600m, 1,5 km e 4 km tiveram menos problemas. Abriu um pouco de sol e o mar ficou menos mexido, deixando a situa\u00e7\u00e3o para os atletas bem melhor em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao dia anterior. Nas provas de 4 km os vencedores foram James Roberto Zoschke da Cassio Ricci\/Gowyll e Isabela de Souza da Joinville Nata\u00e7\u00e3o GT. No 1,5 km\u00a0Mariana Marucco do Clube Curitibano e Magnun Ruiz da Elo Academia levaram a melhor e nos 600m os campe\u00f5es foram Lyessa Fernandes da RDA Nata\u00e7\u00e3o e Diego Dunzer da OMMAR Incorp.
