Katinka Hosszu e Katie Ledecky eram os nomes na ponta da l\u00edngua\u00a0de\u00a0qualquer especialista para a escolha da premia\u00e7\u00e3o. A Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional de Nata\u00e7\u00e3o elegeu em 2015 e 2016 a Dama de Ferro como a melhor do mundo e deu a Ledecky o pr\u00eamio de melhor performance. A americana tamb\u00e9m foi nomeada nestes dois anos pela tradicional revista <em>Swimming World<\/em> como a melhor da temporada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Escolhas inquestion\u00e1veis, afinal nenhuma outra nadadora atingiu o patamar das duas atletas. Por\u00e9m, em 2017 a dupla come\u00e7a a ver um novo nome surgir como candidata para premia\u00e7\u00e3o ao fim\u00a0da temporada: Sarah Sj\u00f6strom. O primeiro semestre da velocista sueca\u00a0vem sendo incr\u00edvel. Absoluta no borboleta, det\u00e9m os recordes mundiais nos 50m e 100m, ela tamb\u00e9m esta cada vez mais dominante\u00a0as provas de livre e por poucos cent\u00e9simos n\u00e3o superou as marcas mundiais nos 50m e 100m na \u00faltima semana durante o Mare Nostrum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sj\u00f6strom esteve em a\u00e7\u00e3o nas tr\u00eas etapas do circuito (Monte Carlo, Barcelona e Canet) sendo de longe a melhor atleta do evento com 100% de aproveitamento: 12 provas disputadas, 12 medalhas de ouro e 12 novos recordes de campeonato. Uma campanha impressionante, ainda mais que houve\u00a0pouco tempo para descansar entre uma etapa e outra. Chama a aten\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m a regularidade da sueca nadando sempre pr\u00f3ximo aos\u00a0recordes mundiais e suas melhores marcas pessoais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Na \u00faltima etapa, em Canet, a sueca fez sua melhor campanha no circuito. Por muito pouco n\u00e3o bateu o recorde mundial dos 100m livre ao completar a prova em 52s08, apenas dois cent\u00e9simos acima da marca de Cate Campbell e nos 50m livre cravou 23s85 terminando 12 cent\u00e9simos acima do recorde mundial de Britta Steffen estabelecido ainda na era dos trajes tecnol\u00f3gicos. No borboleta seus melhores resultados no Mare Nostrum foram 24s76 em Barcelona e 55s76 em Canet, pr\u00f3ximos de suas melhores marcas pessoais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O que chama a aten\u00e7\u00e3o no desempenho de Sj\u00f6strom nesta temporada \u00e9 sua regularidade. No Mare Nostrum a\u00a0velocista nadou sempre na casa dos 23 segundos nos 50m livre, 52 segundos nos 100m livre, 24 segundos no 50m borboleta e entre 55 e 56 segundos nos 100m borboleta. Ali\u00e1s, a sueca \u00e9 a \u00fanica nadadora este ano a nadar os 50m livre abaixo dos 24 segundos, os 50m borboleta abaixo dos 25 segundos e os 100m borboleta abaixo dos 56 segundos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">N\u00fameros que fazem da sueca favorita absoluta para ganhar estas quatro provas e buscar recordes mundiais daqui a menos de um m\u00eas em Budapeste.
