Ao todo est\u00e3o inscritos 103 nadadores de 17 clubes. Devido a pandemia do COVID-19 a entidade resolveu fazer uma competi\u00e7\u00e3o mais enxuta habilitando apenas os nadadores que conseguissem atingir os \u00edndices B da FINA. Na pr\u00e1tica reduziu a seletiva apenas para quem tem chances de chegar as marcas que classificam para os Jogos de T\u00f3quio.<\/p>\n<p>A maior equipe do evento ser\u00e1 o Minas T\u00eanis Clube que inscreveu 27 atletas, um a mais do que o Pinheiros. Flamengo, Unisanta, Corinthians, SESI, Paineiras, Corinthians, Curitibano, Fluminense, Gr\u00eamio N\u00e1utico Uni\u00e3o, Itaja\u00ed, Santa M\u00f4nica, UNAERP, Free Play, Nata\u00e7\u00e3o Americana, Ideal Clube e Clube dos Empregados da Petrobr\u00e1s s\u00e3o os outros clubes que nadar\u00e3o a seletiva<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_8173\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8173\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8173\" src=\"https:\/\/swimchannel.net\/br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/piscina.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" srcset=\"https:\/\/swimchannel.net\/br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/piscina.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/swimchannel.net\/br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/piscina-600x338.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-8173\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Vista da piscina do Maria Lenk &#8211; Foto: Satiro Sodr\u00e9\/SSPress<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Todos os principais nomes da modalidade est\u00e3o inscritos para a seletiva. Nicholas Santos, de 41 anos de idade, \u00e9 o atleta mais velho e Stephanie Balduccini, de 16 anos, a mais jovem. A prova com mais inscritos \u00e9 o 100m livre masculino, que vale vaga no revezamento 4x100m livre e tem 26 nadadores balizados. A seletiva ter\u00e1 o esquema de eliminat\u00f3ria e final e o \u00edndice ol\u00edmpico (classifica\u00e7\u00e3o para T\u00f3quio) s\u00f3 ser\u00e1 contabilizado com os resultados na final. Tamb\u00e9m haver\u00e1 durante o evento uma tomada de tempo para definir os revezamentos femininos e 4x100m medley misto que ainda n\u00e3o tem vaga garantida na Olimp\u00edada.<\/p>\n<p>Alguns atletas inscritos testaram positivo para COVID recentemente e provavelmente n\u00e3o devem nadar esta seletiva. A CBDA garantiu que eles poder\u00e3o tentar fazer as marcas em uma futura data a ser definida. A seletiva ol\u00edmpica acontecer\u00e1 entre os dias 19 e 24 de abril no Maria Lenk, no Rio de Janeiro e ter\u00e1 transmiss\u00e3o do Canal Ol\u00edmpico da TVN Sports.
