Por\u00e9m, devido \u00e0 pandemia de COVID-19 a cerim\u00f4nia do ano passado, programada para ser realizada na cidade de Nova York, n\u00e3o ocorreu. Com isso a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o decidiu realizar as edi\u00e7\u00f5es de 2020 e deste ano em formato online via Zoom.<\/p>\n<p>No come\u00e7o do m\u00eas a institui\u00e7\u00e3o realizou a cerim\u00f4nia online com os coanfitri\u00f5es Ned Denison e Melissa Roberts e quase 40 homenageados vivos participando virtualmente da sess\u00e3o. Desde 1963, os melhores nadadores de \u00e1guas abertas em todo o mundo s\u00e3o homenageados pelo Hall da Fama Internacional de \u00e1guas abertas.
