Novamente foi com emo\u00e7\u00e3o, na batida de m\u00e3o. E de novo com final feliz: Ana Marcela Cunha faturou mais uma medalha de bronze no Campeonato Mundial de Budapeste-2017, desta vez nos 5 km. A brasileira, como ela mesmo revelou ao fim da meia maratona, fez uma prova controlada para ir crescendo progressivamente ao longo do percurso e chegar com bastante energia na reta final e lutar por um lugar\u00a0no p\u00f3dio. A raz\u00e3o para adotar essa estrat\u00e9gia tem uma inspira\u00e7\u00e3o: o campe\u00e3o ol\u00edmpico e mundial Ferry Weertman, que ontem triunfou nos 10 km.<\/p>\n

“Depois do bronze nos 10 km vim mais confiante para encarar esta prova. Mas nadei um pouco diferente das minhas caracter\u00edsticas. Normalmente procuro nadar sempre na frente ao longo de todo o percurso, mas hoje comecei mais a atr\u00e1s para ir crescendo. Passei a primeira volta mais tranquila e depois apertei. Ontem assisti a prova masculina dos 10 km e vi a t\u00e1tica do Ferry Weertman. Ele acabou servindo como um espelho para mim e consegui chegar muito bem e ganhar mais uma medalha o que me deixa feliz. Agora vamos que vamos no revezamento e nos 25 km”, disse Ana Marcela ao SporTV.<\/p>\n

Assim como o holand\u00eas, ela\u00a0chegou disputando de forma acirrada a medalha de bronze justamente contra a compatriota de Weertman, a campe\u00e3 ol\u00edmpica Sharon van Rouwendaal que ap\u00f3s um discreto 16\u00ba lugar nos 10 km nadava com muito empenho\u00a0para subir ao p\u00f3dio nos 5 km. Por\u00e9m, na chegada Sharon n\u00e3o conseguiu superar uma embalada Ana Marcela que acabou sendo um cent\u00e9simo mais r\u00e1pido na hora de tocar o p\u00f3rtico. O resultado inicialmente foi para o photo finisher, mas nem havia motivos para muita discuss\u00e3o j\u00e1 que as imagens da TV mostravam de forma clara que a brasileira havia tocado primeiro.<\/p>\n

Um pouco\u00a0a frente das duas estava a bicampe\u00e3 mundial dos 10 km Aurelie Muller que adotou a mesma estrat\u00e9gia da prova que venceu no \u00faltimo domingo, nadando forte do in\u00edcio ao fim. A t\u00e1tica, por\u00e9m, n\u00e3o deu certo hoje. Mesmo tendo liderado boa parte do percurso ela cansou no quilometro final e foi ultrapassada pela americana Ashley Twichell que ap\u00f3s bater na trave v\u00e1rias vezes\u00a0finalmente conquistou seu primeiro t\u00edtulo mundial tocando na frente ap\u00f3s 59min07s0 de prova. Betina Lorscheitter foi a outra brasileira nesta prova chegando um pouco depois do primeiro pelot\u00e3o de nadadoras e finalizando na 20\u00aa coloca\u00e7\u00e3o. Esta foi a segunda medalha de Ana Marcela Cunha\u00a0no Mundial de Budapeste. O segundo bronze. Foi inclusive, o segundo p\u00f3dio que ela alcan\u00e7a na prova dos 5 km em Mundiais (tamb\u00e9m havia sido bronze em Barcelona-2013). A oitava medalha ao todo nos Campeonatos Mundiais da Fina, ampliando ainda mais seu recorde. Nenhum atleta brasileiro \u00e9 t\u00e3o medalhado quanto Ana Marcela Cunha nesta evento. E essa marca ainda pode aumentar pois ela tem pela frente os 25 km (onde defende seu t\u00edtulo mundial) e o revezamento de 5 km por equipes com os companheiros Viviana Jungblut, Allan do Carmo e Fernando Ponte.<\/p>\n

O redator da SWIM CHANNEL<\/strong> Daniel Takata havia escrito logo ap\u00f3s o fim da prova de 10 km no domingo passado que Ana Marcela era uma hip\u00e9rbole ambulante<\/a> devido ao fato de ter aprendido a se reinventar e pela relev\u00e2ncia de seus feitos. Hoje\u00a0ela adicionou mais uma conquista a esse premiado curr\u00edculo e adotando uma nova estrat\u00e9gia de prova, mostrando que pode continuar se reinventando ainda por muito tempo. E deixamos aqui uma pergunta: qual ser\u00e1 a cor de seus cabelos nas pr\u00f3ximas provas? Domingo estava loiro, meio descolorido. Hoje roxo. Ser\u00e1 que ela levou para Budapeste do tom dourado?
