A Global Swim Series anunciou recentemente que o campe\u00e3o ol\u00edmpico e recordista mundial Ryan Lochte ir\u00e1 fazer parte de seu novo formato: \u201cRace the Legends”. A competi\u00e7\u00e3o permite que nadadores de todo o mundo participem, de forma virtual ou presencial, contra alguns dos melhores nadadores do mundo em disputas nas \u00e1guas abertas.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos muito animados para come\u00e7ar nossa s\u00e9tima temporada com um an\u00fancio desta magnitude\u201d, disse o CEO e fundador da Global Swim Series, Robert Kent em um comunicado \u00e0 imprensa. \u201c\u00c9 um \u00f3timo dia quando um dos maiores nadadores de todos os tempos se junta \u00e0 sua equipe. A Global Swim Series j\u00e1 sediou mais de 200 provas em \u00e1guas abertas desde o in\u00edcio de 2015 em mais de 35 pa\u00edses e inscrevendo cerca de 100 mil atletas em seus eventos. A s\u00e9rie \u201cRace the Legends\u201d adiciona uma nova maneira de participar, coletando pontos em provas espec\u00edficas para poder nadar contra as lendas.
