Um dos maiores eventos de \u00e1guas abertas da regi\u00e3o Norte, o Rio Negro Challenge j\u00e1 est\u00e1 com as inscri\u00e7\u00f5es abertas. A competi\u00e7\u00e3o contar\u00e1 com a tradicional prova Almirante Tamandar\u00e9 e dist\u00e2ncias de 3km, 1,5 km e o relay 500m, al\u00e9m da novidade para os atletas mirins: o retorno do circuito Curumim, para crian\u00e7as de 8 a 12 anos de idade.<\/p>\n

O evento que este ano volta a ser realizado no complexo tur\u00edstico Ponta Negra, zona oeste de Manaus, acontece nos dias 11 e 12 de dezembro, atendendo todos os protocolos de seguran\u00e7a sanit\u00e1ria, contra a COVID-19. Com vagas limitadas, as inscri\u00e7\u00f5es podem ser feitas por meio do site www.rionegrochallenge.com.br<\/a><\/p>\n

“Ano passado realizamos a prova em Paricatuba, no Iranduba, por conta do fechamento da Praia da Ponta Negra. Mesmo assim, a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o do evento seguiu todos os protocolos sanit\u00e1rios contra a COVID-19. Neste ano vamos repetir a dose, s\u00f3 que desta vez voltando com o evento para a praia da Ponta Negra. A pr\u00f3pria limita\u00e7\u00e3o do n\u00famero de vagas, \u00e9 uma garantia de seguran\u00e7a aos participantes do evento”, ressalta o criador do Rio Negro Challenge, Pierre Gadelha.<\/p>\n

Devido o fechamento da Ponta Negra, no ano passado, a tradicional Travessia Almirante Tamandar\u00e9, que completou 50 anos de exist\u00eancia em 2020, foi realizada em formato de circuito. Neste ano, a prova volta a acontecer em seu formato cl\u00e1ssico: saindo da Ponta do Camale\u00e3o com chegada na Ponta Negra.\u00a0“Por conta da pandemia n\u00e3o tivemos como realizar a prova em seu formato cl\u00e1ssico, mas este ano vamos comemorar essas cinco d\u00e9cadas da travessia como ela tem que ser”, comemora Gadelha.<\/p>\n

No primeiro dia do evento, 11 (s\u00e1bado), ser\u00e1 realizado o relay com as equipes de tr\u00eas atletas nadando o revezamento de 500 metros, cada um, al\u00e9m do Circuito Curumim. Tamb\u00e9m no s\u00e1bado ser\u00e1 realizado o congresso t\u00e9cnico, que seguir\u00e1 todas as normas sanit\u00e1rias de distanciamento social. No domingo, 12, ocorre a travessia Almirante Tamandar\u00e9 (8,5 km), al\u00e9m das provas de 3 km e 1,5 km.<\/p>\n
