A Travessia do Canal de Ilhabela 2021 tem um novo diretor de prova. Trata-se de Renato Ribeiro, t\u00e9cnico da Equipe Navegantes e presidente da BISA Swim, associa\u00e7\u00e3o que oferece ultramaratonas no litoral da Ilha Grande, em Angra dos Reis. Renato ocupar\u00e1 a fun\u00e7\u00e3o, que j\u00e1 teve nomes como Jo\u00e3o Castro e Samir Barel, a partir desta edi\u00e7\u00e3o do evento. O carioca tem uma longa hist\u00f3ria com eventos e as \u00e1guas abertas.<\/p>\n

Como t\u00e9cnico da Navegantes soma muitas conquistas como t\u00edtulos na Travessia Caragu\u00e1-Ilhabela e em diversos eventos e circuitos da modalidade pelo pa\u00eds. Ele tamb\u00e9m j\u00e1 acompanhou alguns de seus atletas na tradicional Travessia do Canal da Mancha e como presidente da BISA Swim esta sempre presente acompanhando as tentativas de nado na Ilha Grande. Sobre o convite para a dire\u00e7\u00e3o de prova da Travessia do Canal de Ilhabela, Renato demonstra estar bastante empolgado com a miss\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

“Estou muito feliz e honrado com essa nomea\u00e7\u00e3o, recebi o convite do Jo\u00e3o Castro e do Patrick Winkler, fiquei emocionado em saber que me deram essa responsabilidade de ser diretor geral de um dos eventos mais bonitos e importantes do calend\u00e1rio nacional de \u00e1guas abertas. Darei minha alma por esse evento, como fa\u00e7o em todos os meus trabalhos e irei colocar toda minha experi\u00eancia em pr\u00e1tica para realizarmos um evento impec\u00e1vel, nesta prova desafiadora”, disse Renato que esteve recentemente acompanhando mais uma travessia do BISA Swim.<\/p>\n

O t\u00e9cnico tamb\u00e9m afirmou ainda que tem grandes expectativas para a edi\u00e7\u00e3o deste ano. “J\u00e1 levei minha equipe nas outras edi\u00e7\u00f5es, conheci bem o formato da prova. Depois de tanto tempo sem termos eventos grandes e importantes como esse, devido a pandemia, faremos de tudo para que seja e ser\u00e1 um dia muito especial.
