O nadador Matheus Gonche foi um dos milhares de atletas que disputaram este fim de semana a edi\u00e7\u00e3o 2021 da Travessia Poliana Okimoto. Membro da sele\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira nos Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos de T\u00f3quio este ano, Gonche aproveitou para fazer do evento seu encerramento de uma temporada muito importante para sua carreira, al\u00e9m de prestigiar o evento da medalhista ol\u00edmpica no Rio-0216 e posar para fotos com in\u00fameros participantes nas areias do Guaruj\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Gonche nadou e venceu a prova de 3 km superando um mar mexido e impondo um forte ritmo. Entre seus concorrentes estavam nomes como Alexander Rehder, um veterano em \u00e1guas abertas. Mas esta n\u00e3o foi a primeira competi\u00e7\u00e3o do nadador fora das piscinas, j\u00e1 que em outubro ele nadou uma etapa do Brasileiro de Maratonas Aqu\u00e1ticas na Represa Billings. Seu foco permanece na piscina, onde buscar\u00e1 a vaga para os Jogos de Paris-2024, mas ele revelou que gostou das experi\u00eancias de nadar em \u00e1guas abertas.<\/p>\n

“A prova da Poliana foi muito legal e me diverti bastante. Mas foi uma travessia muito dura porque o mar estava bastante mexido e quando cai na \u00e1gua o vento aumentou e as ondas cresceram. Mas no geral foi muito bom e estava bem animado. Fiz uma prova bem forte e consegui colocar um ritmo forte para conseguir vencer. Foi uma \u00f3tima experi\u00eancia”, disse o nadador ol\u00edmpico a SWIM CHANNEL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Com essa prova, Gonche encerra uma temporada inesquec\u00edvel. O nadador, que tem apoio da Kpaloa, conseguiu em abril o \u00edndice ol\u00edmpico para os Jogos de T\u00f3quio e no Jap\u00e3o, disputou a prova dos 100m borboleta. Este ano ainda conquistou quatro medalhas na primeira edi\u00e7\u00e3o dos Jogos Pan-Americanos da Juventude e esta classificado para nadar os 200m borboleta no pr\u00f3ximo Pan Absoluto em Santiago-2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
