No dia 3 de dezembro as \u00e1guas do Rio Negro ser\u00e3o tomadas por centenas de nadadores que disputar\u00e3o a segunda etapa do Rio Negro Challenge, evento de \u00e1guas abertas organizado pela Aqu\u00e1tica Amazonas. Esta etapa ter\u00e1 novamente as dist\u00e2ncias de 1,5 km e 3 km que comp\u00f5e o Rio Negro Challenge e os 500m do Circuito Curumim, para atletas de oito a 13 anos. A diferen\u00e7a em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a etapa anterior \u00e9 que desta vez teremos a famosa Travessia Almirante Tamandar\u00e9, uma das provas mais cl\u00e1ssicas da nata\u00e7\u00e3o manauara e que tem 8,5 km de percurso.<\/p>\n

A prova ter\u00e1 71\u00a0nadadores participantes. Entre todos uma chama a aten\u00e7\u00e3o pelo vasto e premiado curr\u00edculo: Ana Marcela Cunha. Dona de tr\u00eas medalhas no \u00faltimo Campeonato Mundial em Budapeste (quando sagrou-se tricampe\u00e3 mundial nos 25 km) e campe\u00e3 da Travessia Capri-N\u00e1poles no m\u00eas passado, a nadadora da Unisanta retorna as \u00e1guas do Rio Negro dez anos depois de sua primeira participa\u00e7\u00e3o na prova e garantiu que esta motivada para arrebatar mais uma medalha de ouro.<\/p>\n

“Adoro nadar a Travessia Almirante Tamandar\u00e9. Manaus \u00e9 um lugar encantador e de povo acolhedor, sempre fui muito bem recebida e j\u00e1 inclu\u00ed a travessia em minha agenda pessoal. A prova vai encerrar\u00a0o meu calend\u00e1rio de eventos em 2017 e quero muito participar”, disse a nadadora baiana ao jornal A Cr\u00edtica<\/a>. Ano passado Ana Marcela disputaria a travessia, por\u00e9m, n\u00e3o pode participar.<\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s uma cirurgia de retirada do ba\u00e7o, Ana Marcela vem fazendo uma excelente temporada. Al\u00e9m das vit\u00f3rias no Mundial de Budapeste e na Capri-N\u00e1poles, ela soma outras conquistas no Campeonato Brasileiro e na Copa do Mundo de \u00e1guas abertas da Fina. Sem d\u00favida, a presen\u00e7a de Ana Marcela ao evento ser\u00e1 um grande motivador para outros atletas que poder\u00e3o competir e dividir as \u00e1guas da Praia da Ponta Negra com uma das melhores atletas do mundo.<\/p>\n

Com 2,2 mil km de extens\u00e3o e protagonista do famoso encontro das \u00e1guas com o Rio Solim\u00f5es, o Rio Negro\u00a0\u00e9 um dos maiores rios do mundo.\u00a0Devido ao elevado\u00a0grau de acidez da \u00e1gua, a densidade \u00e9 muita baixa\u00a0e impacta diretamente na flutuabilidade do atleta que tem a\u00a0sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de estar afundando.\u00a0Nadar nestas condi\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 um \u00f3timo teste para o nadador que procura por novos desafios.\u00a0As inscri\u00e7\u00f5es para as provas de 500m (Circuito Curumim), 1,5 km e 3 km est\u00e3o abertas e podem ser efetivas atrav\u00e9s do site da\u00a0SWIM CHANNEL<\/strong>\u00a0aqui<\/a>.
