O nadador Mario Pinto j\u00e1 esta no Rio de Janeiro para encarar os 108 km do Desafio do Leme ao Pontal nesta semana. O atleta de Araraquara busca realizar a ultramaratona no litoral carioca em tr\u00eas percursos, sendo Leme-Pontal\/Pontal-Leme\/Leme-Pontal. Caso obtenha sucesso nesta jornada, ele se tornar\u00e1 a primeira pessoa a realizar o desafio em tr\u00eas percursos.<\/p>\n

A largada da prova dever\u00e1 acontecer por volta das 22h de amanh\u00e3, dia 17 de fevereiro, e o atleta pretende concluir o desafio at\u00e9 a metade do s\u00e1bado, dia 19 de fevereiro. Mario passou os \u00faltimos meses em um \u00e1rduo treinamento visando essa ultramaratona, que ele conhece muito bem. Afinal, em\u00a0novembro de 2020 ele concluiu com sucesso os 36 quil\u00f4metros da travessia em 7h43min.<\/p>\n

Psic\u00f3logo e t\u00e9cnico de nata\u00e7\u00e3o, Mario tem no curr\u00edculo a conclus\u00e3o de v\u00e1rias ultramaratonas com destaque para a Travessia do Canal da Mancha, que concluiu em 2018 com o tempo total de 12h05min. O desafio tamb\u00e9m virou livro que tem como t\u00edtulo “Travessia do Canal da Mancha: a conquista de um sonho<\/em>“, onde o nadador sobre sua prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para a prova, o trabalho em equipe e aspectos da prepara\u00e7\u00e3o f\u00edsica, t\u00e9cnica e psicol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n

At\u00e9 o momento apenas Jos\u00e9 Eduardo Ferreira, o Z\u00e9 Ferreira, conseguiu completar o desafio em mais de um percurso. A travessia de Mario Pinto poder\u00e1 ser acompanhada em tempo real atrav\u00e9s da p\u00e1gina do Leme to Pontal Swimming Association (LPSA).
