Disputada pela primeira vez em 1970, a prova acontece todos os anos\u00a0nas \u00e1guas do Canal de Bertioga\u00a0e tem 24 km de percurso. Com\u00a0largada no Forte S\u00e3o\u00a0Jo\u00e3o, em Bertioga e chegada na rampa de acesso da Base A\u00e9rea de Santos (BAST), a maratona \u00e9 um grande\u00a0diferencial no curr\u00edculo dos nadadores de \u00e1guas abertas. At\u00e9 porque, quem n\u00e3o gostaria de completar essa prova algum dia?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por\u00e9m, para nadar a 14 Bis \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio estar preparado para encarar uma prova t\u00e3o desgastante. No <a href=\"http:\/\/travessia14bis.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\">site oficial do evento<\/a> h\u00e1 algumas dicas para quem for nadar. Selecionamos aqui alguns pontos importantes\u00a0que podem ser \u00fateis para quem j\u00e1 se inscreveu e tamb\u00e9m para quem ainda n\u00e3o fez a sua inscri\u00e7\u00e3o, mas pensa em nadar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Muitos interessados em nadar a prova perguntam que tipo de treinamento precisam fazer para disputar a 14 Bis. Claro que isso \u00e9 algo que o t\u00e9cnico do atleta vai definir, j\u00e1 que ele conhece muito bem seu pupilo, por\u00e9m, \u00e9 indicado para quem vai no intuito de completar a dist\u00e2ncia fazer treinos aer\u00f3bico buscando melhorar a resist\u00eancia f\u00edsica. Semanas antes da prova o atleta deve fazer uma\u00a0dieta bem equilibrada e balanceada, comendo\u00a0principalmente carboidratos e prote\u00ednas. J\u00e1 ao longo da travessia o nadador precisar\u00e1 se hidratar e al\u00e9m de \u00e1gua, consumir carboidrato l\u00edquido (como a maltodextrina) e sach\u00eas de gel s\u00e3o \u00f3timos para mant\u00ea-lo na pegada da travessia, al\u00e9m de alimentos s\u00f3lidos como bananas. Depois da prova \u00e9 recomendado evitar alimentos gordurosos e comer essencialmente alimentos ricos em carboidratos e de f\u00e1cil digest\u00e3o. Lembrando que o ideal \u00e9 sempre ter um acompanhamento nutricional durante todo este per\u00edodo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Outra pergunta\u00a0normalmente\u00a0feita pelos atletas \u00e9 sobre os fatores\u00a0externos da prova. Nas \u00e1guas abertas\u00a0eles muitas vezes podem ser um obst\u00e1culo a mais para os nadadores e na Maratona Aqu\u00e1tica 14 Bis desafios como superar\u00a0uma correnteza contr\u00e1ria, uma temperatura da \u00e1gua oscilante ao longo do percurso e a presen\u00e7a de \u00e1guas vivas\u00a0pelo meio do caminho poder\u00e3o ser alguns contratempos.
