E vieram logo dois. Viviane Jungblut n\u00e3o tomou conhecimento da concorr\u00eancia e antes dos 400 metros j\u00e1 liderava de forma isolada e foi abrindo vantagem durante o percurso para vencer bem com 16min19s62. Em segundo lugar veio Beatriz Dizotti, que lutou at\u00e9 o final para buscar o \u00edndice com 16min25s95. E foi com um veterano e que sabe muito bem o que \u00e9 um Campeonato Mundial de piscina longa. Jo\u00e3o Gomes voltou a nadar bem e venceu a final com 26s62, melhorando quatro cent\u00e9simos em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a eliminat\u00f3ria. Inclusive, Jo\u00e3o tem agora os dois melhores tempos do mundo em 2022. Kaue n\u00e3o fez o \u00edndice, mas vibrou muito com seu desempenho de1min56s92 e terminou com a prata. Terminou com o tempo de 2min12s32, piorando em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a manh\u00e3. A medalha de prata ficou com Maria Fernanda Silva com 2min14s44.
