O Hall da Fama da Nata\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira anunciou mais um nome em sua galeria de imortais. E esse \u00eddolo \u00e9 nada mais, nada menos do que o medalhista ol\u00edmpico Cyro Delgado. Membro do revezamento 4x200m livre medalha de bronze nos Jogos de Moscou-1980, ele e o 11\u00ba membro do pante\u00e3o do HFNB. Cyro recebeu ontem, na piscina do Parque Aqu\u00e1tico Maria Lenk, durante as finais do Trof\u00e9u Brasil, uma placa do Hall da Fama.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m do bronze ol\u00edmpico, Cyro tamb\u00e9m disputou os Jogos de Los Angeles-1984. Nadador hist\u00f3rico, ele soma ainda seis medalhas em tr\u00eas edi\u00e7\u00f5es de Jogos Pan-Americanos disputadas. Em San Juan-1979 foi prata com o 4x200m livre e bronze com o 4x100m livre. Em Caracas-1983 foi vice-campe\u00e3o com o 4x100m e 4x200m livre e em Indian\u00e1polis-1987 ganhou duas medalhas de bronze novamente com os dois revezamentos.<\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s encerrar sua carreira nas piscinas, Cyro trabalhou em diversos projetos de gest\u00e3o esportiva, tendo sido tamb\u00e9m Subsecret\u00e1rio Estadual de Esportes do Rio de Janeiro e presidente da Comiss\u00e3o Nacional de Aletas do Comit\u00ea Ol\u00edmpico do Brasil. Ele ainda foi candidato a presid\u00eancia da Confedera\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de Desportos Aqu\u00e1ticos (CBDA).<\/p>\n

O HFNB deve homenagear mais um nome ainda este ano, possivelmente durante a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Trof\u00e9u Jos\u00e9 Finkel, que esta marcado para ocorrer em Recife, em piscina curta, entre os dias 13 e 17 setembro. O evento ser\u00e1 ainda seletiva \u00fanica para definir o time brasileiro que vai para o Campeonato Mundial de piscina curta em dezembro.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m de Cyro, o Hall da Fama da Nata\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira j\u00e1 eternizou em sua galeria Tetsuo Okamoto, Piedade Coutinho, Djan Madruga, Manoel dos Santos, Jos\u00e9 Fyolo, Jorge Fernandes, Ricardo Prado, Maria Lenk, R\u00f4mulo Arantes e Gustavo Borges. Com a miss\u00e3o de manter, promover e divulgar a hist\u00f3ria e mem\u00f3ria da nata\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira, o HFNB foi criado em 2014 e \u00e9 reconhecido pela CBDA.<\/p>\n
