A atleta j\u00e1 consolidou seu lugar na hist\u00f3ria aos 25 anos, sendo dona dos 13 melhores tempos do mundo na prova dos 1500m livre. Nascida na capital americana, Washington DC, ela come\u00e7ou a nadar aos seis anos de idade e desde ent\u00e3o se tornou uma lenda e uma das atletas mais premiadas de todos os tempos.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article__inner\">\n<div class=\"article__body article-body\" data-widget=\"article-body\" data-script=\"fina_article\" data-initialised=\"true\">\n<p>&#8220;Quando eu tinha seis anos, logo antes de come\u00e7ar a nadar, fomos a uma competi\u00e7\u00e3o nacional aqui em Maryland e assistimos Michael Phelps nadar, pude conhec\u00ea-lo e ganhar seu aut\u00f3grafo. Depois de nove anos e estou nas Olimp\u00edadas com ele. Dois anos depois, no Mundial de Budapeste, foi Ledecky contra o rel\u00f3gio. Mas com 15min31s82 n\u00e3o conseguiu bater o recorde, mas fez o suficiente para se tornar a primeira tricampe\u00e3 mundial nos 1500m feminino. Mas era quest\u00e3o de tempo para melhorar seu recorde. E ele veio no TYR Pro Swim Series de 2018 em Indian\u00e1polis<strong>. <\/strong>Seus 15min20s48 reduziram em impressionantes cinco segundos de seu recorde anterior!<\/p>\n<p>E o recorde dela est\u00e1 a\u00ed para ser quebrado. Classificada para o Mundial de Budapeste-2022, ela deve nadar quatro provas individuais e se vencer todas se iguala a Michael Phelps, tornando-se a nadadora com maior n\u00famero de vit\u00f3rias individuais em Campeonatos Mundiais.
