N\u00e3o tivemos surpresas na\u00a0tradicional Travessia Almirante Tamandar\u00e9 e a vit\u00f3ria ficou com aqueles que eram os grandes favoritos da prova: Allan do Carmo e Catarina Ganzeli. Nas \u00e1guas do Rio Negro, em Manaus, a\u00a0dupla da sele\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira levou a melhor coroando o bom momento que vem atravessando este ano. Com 8,5 km de percurso esta \u00e9 a principal prova da regi\u00e3o e teve a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de 70 atletas. Al\u00e9m desses atletas de elite, outros 230 nadadores encararam as demais provas de 500m, 1,5 km e 3 km.<\/p>\n

Conhecida pela alta densidade e\u00a0pelas \u00e1guas\u00a0escuras, o Rio Negro \u00e9 sempre um desafio a parte para nadadores de \u00e1guas abertas. Aqui o atleta tem a sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de estar afundando a cada bra\u00e7ada e precisa fazer muita for\u00e7a para manter boa flutuabilidade. Al\u00e9m dessa sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de “\u00e1gua pesada”, o nadador tamb\u00e9m precisa enfrentar o forte calor da \u00e1gua que neste domingo beirou os 30\u00baC. Empecilho que n\u00e3o foi dificuldade para os campe\u00f5es da prova.<\/p>\n

Vindo de duas vit\u00f3rias no Campeonato Brasileiro de \u00e1guas abertas e do vice-campeonato mundial da Copa do Mundo da Fina, Allan do Carmo estendeu a boa fase no Amazonas para conquistar mais um t\u00edtulo para sua carreira. O nadador da Aceb sobrou e triunfou com o tempo 1h40min42s. Allan teve uma vit\u00f3ria incontest\u00e1vel colocando mais de 15 minutos sobre o segundo colocado. Agora ele prepara para o Desafio Rei e Rainha do Mar onde vai competir ao lado de Poliana Okimoto, Ana Marcela Cunha e Fernando Ponte. O vice-campeonato na\u00a0Almirante Tamandar\u00e9 ficou com Marcos Fraccaro que concluiu a travessia em 1h55min55s. Em terceiro chegou outro nadador paulista, Alan Barbosa que nadou em 1h56min00s.<\/p>\n

No feminino a vit\u00f3ria ficou a favorita Catarina Ganzeli. A nadadora da Unisanta esteve pr\u00f3xima durante todo o percurso dos primeiros colocados no masculino, chegando inclusive a ser a segunda colocada geral da prova atr\u00e1s apenas do campe\u00e3o masculino Allan do Carmo ao cruzar a linha de chegada em 1h55min49s. Catarina\u00a0vive grande fase vindo de bons resultados recentes, como o t\u00edtulo na Maratona Aqu\u00e1tica 14 Bis e o vice-campeonato na Travessia do Canal de Ilhabela. Em segundo lugar chegou Patricia Farias que completou os 8,5 km em 2h09min57s. Em terceiro lugar ficou Ylsue Sasai com 2h15min42s.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m dos campe\u00f5es da Travessia Almirante Tamandar\u00e9 o Rio Negro Challenge tamb\u00e9m teve outras tr\u00eas provas. Nos 3 km os vencedores foram Edmir Diniz e Priscilla Magalh\u00e3es com respectivamente 52min49s e 52min28s. Nos 1,5 km os campe\u00f5es foram Vitor Gadelha (que concedeu uma entrevista semana passada a SWIM CHANNEL<\/strong><\/a> falando sobre a prova) e Isabele Silva com 21min50s e 24min35s, respectivamente. E no Circuito Curumim, com 500m e exclusiva para crian\u00e7as, Jo\u00e3o Pedro Afonso e Julia Sousa foram mais r\u00e1pidos.
