Um dos locais mais famosos do surf nacional, com direito a etapa do WSL, a liga mundial de surfe, ser\u00e1 palco daqui poucos dias de um dos maiores eventos de esportes aqu\u00e1ticos do pa\u00eds. Estamos falando da bela cidade de Saquarema, localizada na Regi\u00e3o dos Lagos, e que entre os dias 19 e 21 deste m\u00eas recebe a terceira etapa do Aloha Spirit Festival 2022. Ser\u00e3o diversas provas v\u00e1rias modalidades como paddleboard, SUP, canoa polin\u00e9sia\/Va\u2019a, surfski, apneia, waterman, OC4 surf, longboard e SUP wavee claro a nata\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00e1guas abertas.<\/p>\n

No s\u00e1bado a primeira prova do dia \u00e9 a long, maior dist\u00e2ncia da competi\u00e7\u00e3o com percurso de 5 km. Em seguida rolam as largadas do short com 1,5 km de percurso, do cruise com 2,5 km e o sprint com 500m. Todos os mapas de percurso das provas j\u00e1 foram divulgados pela organiza\u00e7\u00e3o e podem ser vistos aqui<\/a>. No dia seguinte acontecem mais duas provas: o revezamento 2x600m para duplas masculinas, femininas e mistas, e o Festival Kid\u2019s com um percurso de 200m para as crian\u00e7as.<\/p>\n

“A maratona aqu\u00e1tica brasileira tem diversos atletas que foram campe\u00f5es mundiais e medalhistas ol\u00edmpicos, o que aumentou a popularidade desta modalidade, mas \u00e9 sempre importante abrir novos espa\u00e7os para as provas em mares, rios, represas e lagos. Neste sentido, o Aloha Spirit \u00e9 um evento democr\u00e1tico e de integra\u00e7\u00e3o, que re\u00fane atletas semiprofissionais, masters e iniciantes, algo que muitos eventos oficiais n\u00e3o permitem. Por isso, creio que o Aloha Spirit \u00e9 fundamental para aumentar a visibilidade das maratonas aqu\u00e1ticas, pois acabam motivando muito mais os amadores”, disse Igor de Souza, diretor de nata\u00e7\u00e3o do Aloha.<\/p>\n

Alguns nomes j\u00e1 confirmaram presen\u00e7a para a prova long da competi\u00e7\u00e3o no litoral de Saquarema. Entre eles os destaque s\u00e3o para o veterano Artur Pedroza, nome bastante conhecido no cen\u00e1rio nacional das \u00e1guas abertas com m\u00faltiplos t\u00edtulos, e Ana Carolina Morelli, ex-velocista na piscina e que vem obtendo bons resultados em provas de longa dist\u00e2ncia em \u00e1guas abertas.<\/p>\n
