Neste fim de semana cerca de 2.500 encararam a nado uma das provas mais famosas de \u00e1guas abertas e que proporciona a experi\u00eancia do nadador cruzar de um continente para outro. Estamos falando da tradicional Travessia Intercontinental de Nata\u00e7\u00e3o do B\u00f3sforo, prova de 6,5 km de dist\u00e2ncia e que \u00e9 realizada anualmente no Estreito do B\u00f3sforo, que separa a Europa da \u00c1sia.<\/p>\n

O Estreito do B\u00f3sforo est\u00e1 localizado em Istambul, capital de Turquia \u00e9 conhecido mundialmente por ser o ponto que separa os dois continentes. A prova tem largada do lado asi\u00e1tico e chegada na parte europeia da cidade. Desde 1989 a travessia \u00e9 realizada anualmente e \u00e9 organizada pelo Comit\u00e9 Ol\u00edmpico Turco. A prova costuma atrair milhares de nadadores de v\u00e1rias regi\u00f5es do mundo com at\u00e9 lista de espera para participar. Por\u00e9m, por medidas de seguran\u00e7a a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o da prova limita a disputa ao m\u00e1ximo de 2.500 nadadores.<\/p>\n

Nesta travessia todos os inscritos embarcam em um enorme iate que conta com um longo deck. Ali os nadadores ficam perfilados antes de cair na \u00e1gua rumo ao lado europeu de Istambul. Inclusive, as imagens \u00e1reas da prova s\u00e3o sempre muito bonitas com milhares de atletas na \u00e1gua junto das paisagens naturais e urbanas da capital turca.<\/p>\n

Nesta edi\u00e7\u00e3o os campe\u00f5es da travessia foram nadadores locais. No masculino Dogukan Ula\u00e7 venceu com tempo de 48min13s e no feminino Burcu Naz Narin foi a grande campe\u00e3 com a marca de 48min14s. Uma curiosidade \u00e9 que este ano at\u00e9 o ministro de Estado turco nadou. K\u00fcrsat Tuzmen ficou em terceiro lugar na categoria de 60-64 anos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
