A estrela de Hollywood Jason Momoa, conhecido pelo seu papel no filme “Aquaman”, prepara um novo projeto: contar a hist\u00f3ria de vida do tamb\u00e9m havaiano Duke Kahanamoku em um document\u00e1rio. De acordo com o site IMDB, especializado em produ\u00e7\u00f5es cinematogr\u00e1ficas, Momoa e o produtor Peter Safran est\u00e3o se unindo para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o do longa-metragem sobre a vida do waterman.<\/p>\n

Safran produziu tanto \u201cAquaman\u201d, quanto a pr\u00f3xima sequ\u00eancia \u201cAquaman and the Lost Kingdom<\/em>\u201d, com lan\u00e7amento previsto para o ano que vem. Declarado f\u00e3 de Duke, Momoa narrou um document\u00e1rio sobre o waterman para uma emissora americana chamado \u201cWaterman \u2013 Duke: Ambassador of Aloha<\/em>\u201d, que estreou em maio deste ano e que contamos aqui<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Duke \u00e9 considerado um dos watermans mais conhecidos da hist\u00f3ria, j\u00e1 que al\u00e9m da nata\u00e7\u00e3o, ele praticou surfe, surfe em dupla, SUP, paddleboard, polo aqu\u00e1tico, entre outras modalidades. Ele ainda chegou a trabalhar na ind\u00fastria cinematogr\u00e1fica fazendo alguns filmes. Duke tamb\u00e9m chegou a salvar oito pessoas de um naufr\u00e1gio, utilizando uma prancha de madeira, em certa ocasi\u00e3o e \u00e9 considerado por muitos como o maior embaixador do Hava\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Nas piscinas Duke Kahanamoku disputou tr\u00eas Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos: Estocolmo-1912, Antu\u00e9rpia-1920 e Paris-1924. Ao todo ele conquistou cinco medalhas na nata\u00e7\u00e3o, com destaque para o bicampeonato ol\u00edmpico nos 100m livre.
