A nata\u00e7\u00e3o paral\u00edmpica segue a todo vapor com eventos nacionais e internacionais envolvendo atletas da sele\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira. No pr\u00f3ximo s\u00e1bado, 1\u00ba de outubro, a cidade de Bras\u00edlia ser\u00e1 palco da 8\u00aa etapa da temporada 2022 do Meeting Paral\u00edmpico Loterias Caixa, que al\u00e9m da nata\u00e7\u00e3o ter\u00e1 disputas no atletismo e halterofilismo. As disputas da nata\u00e7\u00e3o v\u00e3o acontecer nas depend\u00eancias do Clube do Ex\u00e9rcito.<\/p>\n

Tr\u00eas medalhistas paral\u00edmpicos em T\u00f3quio-2020 confirmaram presen\u00e7a no evento: Cec\u00edlia Ara\u00fajo da categoria S8, Gabriel Bandeira do S14 e Wendell Belarmino do S11. Gabriel vem fazendo uma grande temporada este ano, tendo inclusive estabelecido o recorde mundial na prova dos 100m borboleta em maio deste ano com 54s18 no Campeonato Brasileiro Paral\u00edmpico. Ele tamb\u00e9m nadou provas do Trof\u00e9u Brasil e Trof\u00e9u Jos\u00e9 Finkel este ano.<\/p>\n

No cen\u00e1rio internacional, alguns atletas da sele\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira paral\u00edmpica disputaram na semana passada o Open da Argentina de Nata\u00e7\u00e3o Paral\u00edmpica, em Buenos Aires. A competi\u00e7\u00e3o aconteceu na piscina do Parque Ol\u00edmpico, palco dos Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos da Juventude de 2018 e ao todo, os brasileiros conquistaram 22 medalhas sendo nove de ouro, seis de prata e sete de bronze. O destaque individual da equipe foi L\u00eddia Cruz. A nadadora do Vasco da Gama ganhou quatro medalhas: ouro nos 100m e 200m livre e 150m medley e prata nos 50m livre na categoria S4.<\/p>\n

A equipe que disputou a competi\u00e7\u00e3o mesclou jovens talentos com nomes consagrados da nata\u00e7\u00e3o paral\u00edmpica, entre eles a multimedalhista e campe\u00e3 paral\u00edmpica em T\u00f3quio-2020, Maria Carolina Santiago que venceu os 50m livre e foi prata nos 100m livre S12.
