Entre todos os indicados a nata\u00e7\u00e3o ter\u00e1 dois representantes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Principal destaque do Campeonato Mundial de Budapeste, Caeleb Dressel concorre\u00a0como\u00a0revela\u00e7\u00e3o da temporada na categoria <em>Breakthrough<\/em>. O velocista americano ganhou sete medalhas de ouro no Mundial e foi eleito pela Fina como o melhor nadador do mundo em 2017. Dressel tem chances de conquistar o pr\u00eamio pela excepcional performance em Budapeste, mas ter\u00e1 advers\u00e1rios de peso na disputa como Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 (atacante do Paris St. Germain e da sele\u00e7\u00e3o francesa de futebol) e Jelena Ostapenko (tenista let\u00e3 de 20 anos\u00a0campe\u00e3 de\u00a0Roland Garros).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A outra representante da nata\u00e7\u00e3o no Laureus ser\u00e1 Katie Ledecky que concorre na categoria de melhor atleta feminina do ano passado e assim como Dressel tem chances de vencer.\u00a0Em 2017 a americana n\u00e3o foi t\u00e3o brilhante como em temporadas anteriores, por\u00e9m, conquistou seis medalhas em Budapeste sendo a maior medalhista entre as mulheres no Mundial. Ledecky, que concorreu ao pr\u00eamio nas duas \u00faltimas edi\u00e7\u00f5es, ter\u00e1 como advers\u00e1rias\u00a0as tenistas Serena Williams (campe\u00e3 do Australian Open) e Garbine Muguruza (campe\u00e3 de Wimbledon) a corredora Caster Semenya (campe\u00e3 mundial 800m rasos).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O esporte brasileiro\u00a0tamb\u00e9m estar\u00e1 presente no Laureus atrav\u00e9s da equipe de futebol da Chapecoense que concorrer\u00e1 na categoria retorno do ano.
