Dia 29 de abril acontecer\u00e1 a primeira etapa do Rio Negro Challenge 2018, principal evento de \u00e1guas abertas da regi\u00e3o norte do pa\u00eds. A competi\u00e7\u00e3o ter\u00e1 uma novidade para os nadadores: uma prova de 18 km de dist\u00e2ncia, a Travessia Praia do Tup\u00e9-Manaus.\u00a0Esta prova poder\u00e1 ser nadada de forma individual ou em equipes de revezamento com duas, tr\u00eas ou quatro pessoas. A din\u00e2mica aqui \u00e9 concluir a nado o percurso que liga a\u00a0Praia do Tup\u00e9 at\u00e9 a Praia da Ponta Negra em Manaus. Todos os participantes precisar\u00e3o\u00a0obrigatoriamente apresentar um guia para acompanh\u00e1-los em stand up paddle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al\u00e9m dessa longa travessia a programa\u00e7\u00e3o ainda ter\u00e1 mais tr\u00eas provas. Na Maratona Aqu\u00e1tica, a mais concorrida do programa do Rio Negro Challenge, os atletas tem duas op\u00e7\u00f5es: 1,5 km e 3 km. Completa o programa o Circuito Curumim, com uma prova de 500m exclusiva para crian\u00e7as. Ele ainda concentra um elevado grau de acidez em sua composi\u00e7\u00e3o (cerca de -PH 3,8 a 4,9).\u00a0Com baixa\u00a0densidade, o nadador encontra maior dificulta\u00a0para flutuar e sente que esta\u00a0afundando na \u00e1gua. Outro fator importante para o participante \u00e9 que a temperatura da \u00e1gua \u00e9 normalmente mais quente do que a das principais provas, girando na casa dos 28\u00b0C.
