Por\u00e9m, o que muitos n\u00e3o sabem \u00e9 que as principais formas de promover a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o muscular dependem somente do atleta.<\/p>\n<p>A base da recupera\u00e7\u00e3o muscular est\u00e1 na boa qualidade de sono. Foi demonstrado que a priva\u00e7\u00e3o do sono tem efeitos negativos no desempenho, estado de humor, metabolismo e fun\u00e7\u00e3o imunol\u00f3gica e cognitiva. Durante os treinos os m\u00fasculos sofrem micro les\u00f5es que precisam ser reparadas. Para isso \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio que o corpo tenha mat\u00e9ria prima para formar novos m\u00fasculos. Esta mat\u00e9ria prima \u00e9 fornecida justamente por uma alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o adequada, preferencialmente prescrita por um profissional de nutri\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00e1 alguns anos ficaram famosos nas redes sociais os banhos de imers\u00e3o em gelo ap\u00f3s a pr\u00e1tica esportiva. Este m\u00e9todo \u00e9 bastante controverso do ponto de vista cient\u00edfico, uma vez que existem muitas vari\u00e1veis que podem influenciar no resultado, como por exemplo a temperatura da \u00e1gua, o tempo de imers\u00e3o e as partes do corpo que s\u00e3o imersas. A ideia da imers\u00e3o em gelo \u00e9 diminuir rapidamente a atividade muscular limitando as micro les\u00f5es musculares, e assim promovendo um processo mais r\u00e1pido de repara\u00e7\u00e3o muscular.
