A\u00a0Tr\u00edplice Coroa da Nata\u00e7\u00e3o no Gelo \u00e9 um t\u00edtulo dado aos nadadores que completarem tr\u00eas provas\u00a0 espec\u00edficas de nata\u00e7\u00e3o no gelo. Essas provas incluem a Southern Ice Mile, a Northern Ice Mile e o ICE KM. Cada uma delas requer um conjunto diferente de habilidades e apresenta desafios \u00fanicos para os nadadores que v\u00e3o em busca da conquista.<\/p>\n

A Southern Ice Mile \u00e9 uma prova que deve ocorrer nas \u00e1guas geladas da \u00c1frica, Oceania, Ant\u00e1rtida Polar ou Am\u00e9rica do Sul. Os nadadores devem completar uma prova de uma milha (aproximadamente 1.600m) em\u00a0 \u00e1gua que n\u00e3o seja mais quente que 5 graus Celsius. A Northern Ice Mile \u00e9 uma prova semelhante que deve ocorrer na \u00c1sia, Europa, Am\u00e9rica do Norte ou Norte Polar. Os nadadores tamb\u00e9m devem completar uma prova de 1 milha em \u00e1gua gelada que n\u00e3o seja mais quente que 5 graus Celsius.<\/p>\n

O \u00faltimo desafio, o ICE KM \u00e9 um pouco diferente dos outros dois anteriores. A prova deve ser realizada\u00a0 em piscina, seja no Campeonato\u00a0Mundial de Nata\u00e7\u00e3o no\u00a0Gelo\u00a0da\u00a0IISA ou em um campeonato nacional, e a temperatura da \u00e1gua n\u00e3o pode ultrapassar os 5 graus Celsius. Os nadadores devem completar um trajeto de 1.000 metros na piscina nessas condi\u00e7\u00f5es geladas.<\/p>\n

Alcan\u00e7ar a Tr\u00edplice Coroa da nata\u00e7\u00e3o no Gelo n\u00e3o \u00e9 tarefa f\u00e1cil. Requer dedica\u00e7\u00e3o, treinamento e disposi\u00e7\u00e3o para suportar condi\u00e7\u00f5es extremas. At\u00e9 o momento, apenas 13 nadadores conseguiram esse feito. No entanto, temos muitos pr\u00f3ximos de completar o feito, tendo completado dois das tr\u00eas provas obrigat\u00f3rias.<\/p>\n

A International Ice Swimming Association (IISA) – Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional de Nata\u00e7\u00e3o no Gelo –\u00a0 \u00e9 uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o fundada em 2009 com a vis\u00e3o de tornar a nata\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00e1guas geladas um novo esporte. A IISA introduziu o termo \u201cIce Swimming\u201d, que se refere a nadar em \u00e1guas com temperatura de 5,0 C ou inferior, sem ajuda e usando um traje de banho padr\u00e3o, um par de \u00f3culos e uma touca de silicone padr\u00e3o da nata\u00e7\u00e3o.
