O Circuito Mares j\u00e1 \u00e9 o maior evento do estado de S\u00e3o Paulo e re\u00fane cerca de 10 mil inscri\u00e7\u00f5es de atletas por ano. Um dos pontos fortes da competi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a escolha de lugares com \u00f3tima infraestrutura e ao mesmo sendo rota tur\u00edstica como as cidades de Ilhabela, Ubatuba, S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o e Caraguatatuba, no litoral norte paulista.<\/p>\n

No in\u00edcio deste ano, devido ao desastre natural que ocorreu em S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o, por causa das fortes chuvas, a etapa que seria realizada em fevereiro cancelada. Desta forma, a etapa que aconteceu em Ilhabela neste \u00faltimo final de semana, entre os dias 6 e 7 de maio, iniciou a temporada 2023 do Circuito Mares.<\/p>\n

Toda a estrutura do evento acontece na tradicional Praia do Perequ\u00ea, local que recebe excelentes eventos esportivos ao longo do ano, como XTERRA e Aloha Spirit Festival. Como maior festival do estado de S\u00e3o Paulo, \u00e9 natural ter diversas provas de nata\u00e7\u00e3o no evento como o Challenge de 5 km de percurso; o Marathon com seus 2,5 km; o Short com 1 km de dist\u00e2ncia e o Start com 500m. Al\u00e9m de outras modalidades como Aquathlon, Corrida e SUP (Stand-up Paddel), modalidade que estreou nesta etapa.<\/p>\n

Na prova do Challenge, de 5 km, nosso editor Patrick Winkler (de 44 anos) foi o vencedor geral da dist\u00e2ncia, mostrando que entende de nata\u00e7\u00e3o fora da \u00e1gua e tamb\u00e9m dentro dela. Venceu com o tempo de 1h05min39s, seguido por Marcos Fraccaro da cidade de Piracicaba com 1h10min52s e por Wanderley Santos, de S\u00e3o Paulo, com 1h11min59s de prova.<\/p>\n

J\u00e1 no feminino, a atleta de Caraguatatuba, Rafaella Monilly venceu o Challenge de 5 km com o tempo de 1h09min41s, seguida pela tamb\u00e9m integrante do Grupo SWIM CHANNEL<\/strong>, Catarina Ganzelli Winkler com tempo de 1h11min00s e em terceiro lugar ficou a atleta de Campinas, Ana Carolina Moreli com 1h14min08s.<\/p>\n
