A American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) \u00e9 uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o profissional para treinadores de nata\u00e7\u00e3o nos Estados Unidos e oferece a seus membros cursos, cl\u00ednicas e programas. No Brasil, eles realizam anualmente uma cl\u00ednica no Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n<p>Este novo curso online oferecido pela ASCA Brasil \u00e9 uma grava\u00e7\u00e3o das atividades que aconteceram no evento presencial no Rio de Janeiro no primeiro semestre, a 8\u00aa Cl\u00ednica ASCA Brasil. Um dos maiores nadadores do Brasil, ele esteve presente em tr\u00eas Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos: Montreal-1976, Moscou-1980 e Los Angeles-1984. Djan foi medalhista com o hist\u00f3rico revezamento 4x200m livre em Moscou-1980 ao lado de Jorge Fernandes, Cyro Delgado e Marcus Mattioli. Ele tamb\u00e9m foi 4\u00ba colocado nos 400m livre e nos 1500m livre em Montreal-1976. Nas eliminat\u00f3rias dos 400m livre ele bateu o recorde ol\u00edmpico da prova, sendo o primeiro brasileiro a obter este feito.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de sua hist\u00f3ria ol\u00edmpica, Djan foi 11 vezes medalhista em Jogos Pan-Americanos e oito vezes na Univers\u00edade, tendo sido campe\u00e3o nos 400m medley na edi\u00e7\u00e3o da Cidade do M\u00e9xico-1979. Tamb\u00e9m teve uma destacada carreira na nata\u00e7\u00e3o americana universit\u00e1ria e em 1980 estabeleceu nos 800m livre o recorde mais longevo da hist\u00f3ria da nata\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira.
